See AllZero Parades preview: It's Disco Elysium 2.0, basically
Key talent and main writers are still there. Other key talent and main writers aren't. Kurvitz played a large role but but auteur theory is outdated and thankfully understood more and more to be inaccurate to reality. There was never going to be a D.E. 2.0 even with him there. If you would have called it that then, it's fine to call this that now.

I'll play it, looks fun. Sucks what happened with the company but from an ethical level it's hardly like we're all boycotting big corporate games that do just as bad behind the scenes. And although I respect the work that the head devs of D.E. did they're pretty awful people and there isn't any real way to support immoral people on a moral level.
The leads are not the sole creatives. Most of the team that made D.E. what it is are still there.

Shame on a gaming news website for covering gaming news?
Steam's Visa, Mastercard, and censorship fiasco just keeps deteriorating
"Gooner" means "pr0n addict." You don't have the right to force companies to host vile non-consensual content or payment processors to allow you to purchase it. If you would like to host or distribute it yourself, you are free to. There is no censorship here, and the bans do not say a single thing about queerness. Read the actual remit of the ban. It is quite tight and any reasonable person would find it agreeable.

Calling devs lazy is one of the strongest signs that a person is absolutely unserious, emotional, and frankly just dense. These devs (in fact, probably most devs in gaming) work harder than you have ever worked in your life. The idea that people who crunch for twelve+ hour days for months are lazy is enough to actually make a person laugh out loud. And it's videogames. It's not that serious. If you're doing something bland and boring voluntarily for dozens of hours that reflects pretty poorly on you.
Inform yourself or be quiet.
The best music biopic of the year is now on Netflix and has all the energy of a real concert film
Nice article! I think it's important to note that although use of the Irish language is certainly dimished in comparison to a century ago, it is the official language of the Republic of Ireland and used on all official signage and in all legal contexts, is taught in school to graduation, and has several television and radio channels that are entirely within the language. It's certainly true that Northern Ireland, as part of the U.K., hasn't enjoyed the same kind of treatment re: Irish, in fact the exact opposite, but it's really important to be precise when talking about "revitalization". Kneecap are one of a few musical groups that use Irish in a "cool" way, and are rightfully quite popular, but the Irish language has been revitalized over the last several decades without them, and it's diminishing to say that newcomers Kneecap, as cool as they are, are responsible for a large scale ongoing process that's been happening for a very long time.
