See AllNo RPG needs to be longer than 40 hours
Personally my sweet spot looking back at my Steam gametime history is around 60 hours. By that point I tend to be quite burnt out on the game regardless of the side content and I'm just looking to finish it. The latest FFVII remake was a good example, the open world stuff overstayed it's welcome and I just beelined it through the story at that point. Which I won't complain about, that was my choice and the game let me play it how I want.
No RPG needs to be longer than 40 hours
I think the main thing that sets them apart is, the game is attempting to mimic a calendar year of a 'slice of life' style game mixed with RPG gameplay. In theory the length of the game is core to the actual game's identity itself and for that I'd give it a pass, but it is definitely not for everyone and I thought 5 took way too many liberties with my time towards the last couple months.

I thought I was going to finish that game like 5 nights in a row... those last dungeons were UNNECESSARILY long. Really made it a slog to finish it out and because of that I'll likely never replay it.
I hope Magic: The Gathering never stops making Universes Beyond sets
I really don't mind UB, especially when I'm not into one it gives me a reason to take a break. But trying to keep up with my draft group when there are 7 sets a year has become exhausting and it's ultimately pushing me towards commander only gameplay.
That's my only real issue with the addition here, though I do think the Marvel and Spiderman sets really break the immersion a bit in the card game.
God of War Laufey has already become a culture war disaster
It bums me out that most gamers appear to have stayed clandestine incel-type gatekeepers and can't handle a simple deviation to a different gender. There were plenty of female gods in greek/roman cultures, do you think the men back then got all pissy and said "Athena is a WOMAN?!!?!?!?! NOO WAYYYY!"
God people are stupid.
Helldivers 2's galactic war is going to look very different soon
The biggest fail of this game for me was having a cohesive storyline for what the battles actually achieve. What they ended up doing just felt like weekly quests, when what they should have done is leaned into the live action propaganda style of the games introduction on a regularly basis and actually had branching story paths set up before going live.
Ultimately it felt like cookie cutter missions similar to Deep Rock Galactic under a thin veneer of 'cohesiveness' and my interest died as soon as that sheen wore off.
