There's an Avatar game literally releasing next month? Does it not count becuase you dont spend 80 hrs walking around in it from checkpoint to checkpoint to get to the next cutscene?

I was looking forward to this game a lot more before i learned it was 20-30hrs long. "Walk to the other side fo the map to get the cystal of progression, but oh no! It has been seperated into three Shards of Grinding. First collect them then open the Door to More Game".

Along a similar vein, a kid dying of cancer was obsessed with Halo before it came out when the hype was real for that game. Bungie and make a wish brought him to the studios and let him play the game with friends before it launched, and also record voice samples to be used in the game.

Those same voice samples have been used in every single Halo game since then.

But in all seriousness, they've boxed themselves into a corner here. Even as a SW fan, i couldn't tell you what stories i really want to hear? I was really excited for the prequels 20 years ago, to see the character evolution of Annakin into Vader, but the screenwriting and plotting was just so bad, and i dont know if i want to see it retold.

Simiarly the sequels, there were some great ideas at the heart of it. The characters of Rey, Finn and Po had great potential but were just handled so sloppily and with such inconsistent vision, i dont really want to hear more about them. Rey's only motivation seems to be "to move the plot of the movie forward" and they just gave up on Finn entirely, sending him on a side quest to grind XP points - which is a shame as it looked like he was going to be the most intersting of the new Light side characters. And don't get me started on the villain decisions....

I dont feel the need to learn more about boba fett, mando or obi-wan since their TV series...so....whats left? Are we gonna just give up and do Kyle Katarn from the games? Are we gonna make low-grossing dramas like Andor?

They need to go all out and turn this into the Smash Brothers - Now with Cars! it could be. Bring in characters from VF, Space Channel 5, Shinobi, then pick up the phone to Capcom and Konami...
