Zoops i agree that its obvious a lot love went into the game. i'm enjoying my time with the game. that said, its a strange amalgamation of systems and mechanics that even ignoring the Marvel theme (which is niche already) was guaranteed to result in a niche audience.
Im playing this currently since i could get it for under a 10er. its a mess. there are too many superfluous systems, the dialogue is extremely inconsistent, but the actual combat is pretty fun though despite the weird camera. too many weird currencies and boxes to open. i think most people would have preferred a traditional "Marvel XCOM" rather than what they ended up delivering.
