See AllAvatar Legends launches without key modes and promised DLC, players call it a 'rug pull'
The PS5 version doesn’t even have legacy controller support
This means all PS4 fightsticks flat out do not work with this game because the game is looking for PS5 controllers specifically
Every single fighting game that I’ve played on my PS5 works with my Sony officially licensed fightstick (Hori RAP4, I currently play SF6 with it) except for Avatar Legends
I could look past everything else that’s missing or wrong with this game, but for it to launch without legacy controller support is inexcusable. I’ve been playing fighting games with an arcade style layout since the SF2 days, and there ain’t no way in a frozen blue hell that I’m about to drop that and suddenly play on a PS5 controller
I wish I could get refunded for this piece of crap, but Sony’s refund policy is abysmal and makes you ineligible for a refund if you simply download/install the game. You don’t even have to open it in order to become ineligible
What a mess of a launch ugh
4 years later, one of PlayStation’s best games just arrived on Switch 2
i was so excited to play this game until I got 20 minutes into it and the cat you play as falls down a massive hole and has to limp its way to the next area
that instantly got me in my feels
i literally said “nope” and uninstalled it and hugged the heck out of my two cats instead and never once thought of retrying the game again
I love that Cyclops is cool again
Scott has always been badass, especially in Marvel vs. Capcom when he shoots his laser and it covers the entire screen haha

How Bungie built Marathon’s live-service experience years before the game even launched

lol to each their own, but in my opinion, Marathon is the better looking game with an aesthetic and vibe that resonates with me
hunt showdown is ugly as sin aesthetically to me, but that’s just my opinion!
seems like there’s an extraction shooter out there with different styles and looks for everyone, and I’m happy that Marathon is one that’s finally doing it for me
How Bungie built Marathon’s live-service experience years before the game even launched
I’m playing it, didn’t read any reviews and bought it only because I’ve played every other Bungie game and wanted to make my own personal judgement on it
this is my first “extraction” shooter and after having put in a good amount of hours, I can definitely say this is the shooter I’ve been waiting for and didn’t know I needed
this game gives you moments that NO OTHER shooter can deliver (besides other good extraction shooters) and has a steep learning curve and mystery to it that just hits
