About Willa Rowe
Willa Rowe is a contributing writer at Polygon, covering games and entertainment. She is a New York-based journalist and critic whose work has been featured in Kotaku, Digital Trends, the A.V. Club, GamesRadar+, and more. She also co-hosts the Girl Mode podcast.
What's your origin story?
Before Willa could play games she was watching her older siblings play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 and became enamored with it. From then on, Willa couldn't put the controller down, unless it was to read comics. After reading game reviews long enough she wrote her own and found a way to a degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a career in games and entertainment journalism after graduation.
What's a recent obsession?
Widow's Bay, the perfect blend of horror and comedy on TV.
