About Owen S. Good

Owen Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and motorsports video games. He joined Polygon in 2014; before that, he was the weekend editor and sports columnist for Kotaku going back to 2008. Owen is a 1995 graduate of North Carolina State University and a 2000 graduate of The Graduate School of Journalism, Columbia University. A second-generation newspaperman, his career before covering video games included daily newspaper stints in North Carolina; in upstate New York; in Washington, D.C., with the Associated Press; and in Denver at the Rocky Mountain News.
