About Julia Lee

Julia Lee (she/her) is a guides person, which means she makes fancy guides for games like The Legend of Zelda, Honkai: Star Rail, Pokémon Go, and Final Fantasy 14. She also made that Animal Crossing: New Horizons Redd art guide that everyone loves. She loves gambling in mobile games, watching anime, and collecting cool trinkets. She is always playing at least five games at once, all the time.

What's your origin story?

Julia started as an intern for SB Nation, helping run the League of Legends website The Rift Herald. After her internship ended, she continued her work on The Rift Herald under Polygon, eventually branching out and working on guides for live service games. Eventually she started focusing on guides fully, putting her spreadsheet brain to good use.

What's a recent obsession?

Recent and permanent! Julia loves Final Fantasy 14. Whether it's grinding out max level on all the different jobs, or collecting mounts and Triple Triad cards, you can usually find her online doing something.
