See AllChrome on Android is intentionally worse than Chrome on your computer
It's easy to "disable" Chrome on Android, but uninstalling it is more difficult. You need to use the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) on a Mac/PC connected to your phone to manually remove the app, and this may be tricky for users that aren't familiar with ADB. There are resources online available to help that you can find by searching "remove Chrome from Android using ADB."
"Lossless audio" doesn't mean what you think it means
I think your comment complicates and confuses the issue. As is the case with many technical terms, "lossless audio" has evolved to become an indicator of audio quality, bitrate, CD-quality, and sampling rate. There's nuance to it, and merely saying lossless audio "decompresses the file to a bit perfect replica of the original" doesn't reflect what listeners actually want to know about the quality of their file.
I changed one Windows setting and my PC finally started getting Wi-Fi 6E speeds
My job is to always stay curious and cover things even if power users already know them, because that's how people learn.
As an aside, if you asked random Windows users on the street whether they've ever opened the Device Manager, I guarantee you the answer will be no for almost all of them. We, power users, often think things are common sense that are actually anything but common.
I’d given up on dictation until this new Google app changed my mind
Google, the developer of Android, is the company that decided to release this app as an iOS exclusive — not me.
I own 3 PC gaming handhelds, and this is the one I barely use
Alexis As I explain in the piece, users don't care who's to blame. They only care about how the issue affects them. It's the same reason why people buy iPhones because of iMessage or FaceTime instead of blaming Apple for not making better cross-platform messaging and video-calling tools. No one buys a Steam Deck, realizes they can't play their favorite game, and says "well, it's fine because it's the game developer's fault."
From the article:
"I don't think Valve or the Steam Deck are particularly responsible for these shortcomings. But as a consumer, when your favorite game doesn't run on your brand-new PC gaming handheld, you don't care who is responsible. All you care about is the real-world impact, like not being able to play games with your friends."
