Strengthening safety and competency across our operations. 🦺 Our Middle East team at OEG’s Abu Dhabi facility recently completed HSE training focused on building the skills and knowledge needed to support safe and effective operations. Ten employees from across our Technical and Operations teams completed General Safety Awareness training, while eight team members completed Lifting Supervisor training – including five newly appointed Lifting Supervisors and three existing supervisors undertaking refresher training. 🦺 Safety starts with awareness. Our OEG Brazil team in Macaé took part in a training session this morning focused on risk perception, attention to task and recognising unsafe acts in the workplace. The session reinforced the importance of understanding the risks associated with each activity, following established procedures and taking the time to identify potential hazards before work begins. Ready when our customers need us 💪 Our team in Port Fourchon, Louisiana, recently supported an offshore requirement, preparing six P-Tanks for deployment. With the units requiring additional preparation before heading offshore, the team worked quickly to source and change discharge fittings, re-inspect pressure relief components and complete the required leak testing. Going beyond the standard equipment package, the team also sourced high-pressure hoses with custom fittings to accommodate the rig’s specific tie-in requirements. A great example of the flexibility and responsive service our teams provide every day – working together to find solutions and ensure critical equipment is ready when and where it is needed. Our Hands. Our Responsibility. OEG’s Middle East team has launched its 2026 Hand Safety Campaign, reinforcing the importance of protecting our hands through awareness, personal responsibility and strong safety leadership. The campaign focuses on preventing hand and finger injuries, improving hazard identification, reinforcing the use of hands-free tools and appropriate PPE, and encouraging everyone to speak up and use Stop Work Authority when something doesn’t feel safe. As part of the launch, employees were invited to sign the Hand Safety Pledge as a personal commitment to making safer choices before and during every task. OEG's Middle East team recently welcomed high school student, Grace, to our Abu Dhabi facility for a three-day field training programme. Led by our QHSE team, Grace gained practical insight into workplace safety, environmental management, emergency response and risk management, as well as first-hand exposure to how these principles are applied in day-to-day operations. To mark the completion of the programme, Grace was presented with a certificate by Regional QHSE Manager Abdulhalim Mussa Khamis.
