Upwork is going downhill fast, and honestly, it’s becoming harder and harder to take this platform seriously. A platform that was built around freelancers now feels like it’s working against them. Freelancers are already struggling to find real opportunities, while fake or low-quality jobs seem to be everywhere, costing people Connects just to apply. At this point, it feels like freelancers are being treated as the product instead of the people who built the platform in the first place. Upwork needs to remember who made it successful.

I love your platform, except for the endless scammers out there who are eating up my connects. They put out a offerl, I submit a proposal and they never open a single proposal according to the trackers. I am out 15 to thirty connects depending on how many I boosted. Some I've lost were at least fifty. I never get refunded for those. Why?

What AI are we talking about? Right now, your automated security systems are confusing normal manual page refreshes with bots, slapping unfair 'At Risk' flags on long-term professionals, and locking them out of a fair review. Maybe fix what’s already broken and learn how to control your current tools before celebrating new AI features. Freelancers shouldn't have to suffer and lose their livelihoods due to system flaws and lack of human accountability.
