Tips for Building Long-Term Freelancer Relationships Many businesses approach freelance hiring as a series of one-off transactions — post a project, find a freelancer, get the work done, move on. While this approach works for isolated, single-use projects, businesses that instead invest in long-term relationships with strong freelance talent consistently unlock advantages that transactional hiring simply can't match: deeper familiarity with your business, faster turnaround, more consistent quality, and significantly reduced time spent vetting new candidates for every recurring need. YOUR PROPOSAL IS THE REASON WHY YOU ARE BROKE📌📌 You might not be broke because you lack the skill. You might be broke because your proposals are not convincing clients to hire you. A lot of freelancers send proposals that talk too much about themselves, use the same template for every client, and fail to show how they can solve the client’s actual problem. Your proposal should make the client think, “This person understands what I need and can deliver.” So before you send your next proposal, stop and ask yourself: Did I address the client’s problem? Did I show how I can help? Did I give them a reason to trust me? Better proposals can lead to better opportunities. Don’t just apply more learn to apply better. Save this post, review your next proposal, and follow SkillLance Hub for more practical freelancing tips. #SkillLanceHub #FreelancingTips #Freelancer #Freelancing #UpworkTips #FreelanceCareer #RemoteWork #OnlineBusiness #OnlineBusinessAcademy

The Way Clients 𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 is changing. A few years ago, getting hired was mostly about one thing: “Show me your skills.” Now? Clients are asking different questions. 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦? 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥? 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧? This is why having a good skill isn't always enough anymore. Two freelancers can have the same technical ability… But the one with 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨, 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬, and a more professional approach will often stand out. The freelancing game is becoming less about: “What can you do?” And more about: “𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠?” If you're a freelancer, don't just improve your skill. Improve the entire experience of working with you. #LinkedIn #Freelancing #Upwork #MuzammilZafar

The freelance landscape has changed. But what are clients actually looking for now? That’s a question I’ve been hearing a LOT lately. With AI changing how work gets done, companies reassessing budgets, and the way we collaborate continuing to evolve, freelancers and solopreneurs can’t necessarily rely on the same strategies that worked five—or even two—years ago. So for September’s webinar, I’m going straight to the source. I’ll be joined by Suzanne Frenzer Wolff and Yolanda Villegas of LandaJob, Kansas City recruiting specialists focused on advertising and marketing talent. We’ll be talking about what they’re seeing in the marketplace and, most importantly, what clients want from the freelancers and contractors they choose to hire. 👉 What skills are getting attention 👉 What makes someone stand out 👉 What are clients expecting beyond simply being good at your craft 👉 And what you can do NOW to position yourself for more opportunities Join us for WHAT CLIENTS WANT: 📅 September 17th, 11 am - 12 pm Central 💻 FREE online webinar Registration is open now: https://lnkd.in/gbwuSn57 👈 If you’re freelancing—or thinking about going out on your own—this one belongs on your calendar. #Freelancing #FreelanceTips #FutureOfWork

A few things people assume about freelance lead gen/VA support that aren't actually true: → "Freelancers are less reliable than an agency." Reliability comes from process and communication, not company size. A clear scope, regular check-ins, and a sample-first approach matter more than a logo. → "It's cheaper because the quality is lower." Cost differences usually come from overhead, not skill. A freelancer with no agency layers can often verify and deliver a tighter list for the same or less. → "You lose control once you outsource this." The opposite is true when it's set up right — you get visibility into the sample batch, the sourcing method, and the segmentation before anything scales. The real risk isn't freelance vs. agency. It's working with anyone — either kind — without agreeing on process and checkpoints upfront. #B2BLeadGeneration #FreelanceLife #VirtualAssistant #OpenToWork
