Interior designer Mixalis Khoury approaches design by tuning out trends and leaning into instinct, which he calls his ‘chaos’. This mindset shaped a recent project he worked on – a high-rise apartment in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. Mixalis layered a rich mix of details, from retro style vases to bronze pendant lights, each chosen for the warmth they added to the space. While he doesn’t like restricting himself to a direction or concept, Mixalis is inspired by the creativity and freedom of 1970s design. For him, those interiors radiate expression and positivity, ‘I belong to that era’, he adds. To hear more about his design process and what shapes it, read our latest article: https://lnkd.in/ehSBC384
