Content and outreach are ways to let people know your existence and proposition, so that they can consider you when in need. Neither is dead, just that the cycle varies by the need.
Both are evolving, not dying. REFERRALS and community-driven outreach seem most promising right now... people still trust recommendations from their actual network.
