Wes Barefoot shared thisThe equipment you choose affects the spaces you can lease. After helping build Club Pilates to 1,400 locations, Sarah explains how one piece of freestanding equipment opened up more real estate options—and made opening studios faster and more economical. #Franchising

Wes Barefoot shared thisStudio openings every weekend. Rewriting procedures and retraining the team every Monday. Sarah spent two years refining what worked. Those lessons became the playbook for 1,200 more Club Pilates locations—and other Xponential Fitness brands. #ClubPilates #Franchising

Wes Barefoot shared thisYou don’t have to teach Pilates to own a studio. Under an executive ownership model, your role is managing the team, tracking performance, and overseeing the business. Would you own a business in an industry you aren’t passionate about? Why or why not? #Franchise #Business

Wes Barefoot liked thisWes Barefoot liked thisI've spent my whole career helping people sign franchise agreements. When it was time to sign for a fitness franchise of my own, I froze. I knew the process. I knew the questions. I'd walked people through that exact moment for years, and I was scared to death anyway. It took my wife sitting me down and talking it through to get me moving. I tell clients that story because many of them read their own fear as a warning sign. Sometimes it is. More often it's just what it feels like to put your name and your savings on something that isn't a paycheck. So here's how I help people sort one from the other. Fear with an unanswered question behind it is information. Go answer the question. Call another franchisee. Rerun the numbers. Ask what happens if the first year brings in nothing. Fear that's still there after every question has an answer is usually just fear. Being nervous isn't a reason to walk away from a deal that checks out. It's a reason to make sure it checks out, and to have someone in your corner when you decide. Scared and wrong are two different things. The homework tells you which one you're feeling. If you're circling a decision right now, what's the one question you still can't answer? #Franchising #BusinessOwnership #CareerChange #Entrepreneurship

Wes Barefoot liked thisWes Barefoot liked thisMost of us have one thing that quietly gets in our way. Mine was alcohol. This isn't a recovery story. There was no rock bottom. By every outside measure I was a normal drinker, and a few people told me I was nuts for quitting. But it was the thing that held me back for years. Yours might be sugar. Your phone. The late-night scroll. Online shopping. A standing evening date with a pint of choice. Most of us already know what ours is. Once I made that one decision stick, I noticed I had room for more. Not because anything was wrong, but because something had gone right, and I wanted to see what else it would work on. That turned out to be twenty minutes of movement, every day, no matter what. Can you relate? What's your one thing? 👇 Read more here https://lnkd.in/gyzDmQ98 or tap the link in my bio. #NonNegotiable20 #HabitChange #IntentionalLiving #SelfImprovement #WellnessJourney

Wes Barefoot liked thisWes Barefoot liked thisI was so reluctant to coach my kid’s soccer team... I’ve got enough on my plate. Work, business, and travel can be stressful as it is. Anyone in #frandev can tell you that… I also don’t know anything about soccer 😅 But, nevertheless I was guilted into taking the helm earlier this year… it was right around the time I made a pretty big job shift and my capacity was at an all time low It’s been one of the best decisions I have ever made. First season (spring) we won one game… This week we are wrapping up our second (fall) season and I received this note from a parent who was new to my team this go-around. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t tear up a bit. Yes - We won a couple more games this time… but it’s been an absolute blast seeing my little athletes getting better each week. My old college football coach used to say that if you wanted something done, go find the busiest person in the room. He may have been on to something. No matter how busy you are, you the have capacity for the things that are important to you. #staystreetwise #getyoursaturdaysback

Proud of the work our team is doing at Cordova Franchising. IFA 2026 reinforced something I’ve believed for years, franchising done right requires discipline, infrastructure, and a relationship-first mindset. It’s easy to focus on awarding deals. It’s harder to build systems that support franchisees long-term. The conversations this week, from the main stage to roundtables, made one thing clear: Ethical growth isn’t optional. It’s the standard. Appreciate everyone who invested time in real dialogue around performance, accountability, and sustainable expansion. We’re building the right way. #IFA2026 #Franchising #FranchiseLeadership #EthicalFranchising #CordovaFranchising #Accountability #LongTermGrowth #ThoughtLeaderThursday
