Vince Cersosimo shared thisHunter.io tested 3,000 real business emails through 15 verification tools this year. NeverBounce scored 63.17% accuracy. Most email verification stops at checking whether the server responds. It doesn't verify the mailbox exists. It doesn't check engagement signals. It doesn't check against deliverability risk factors. The result is a verified list that still bounces, still hits spam traps, still damages sender reputation. Companies come to us after running verification through a competitor and still getting 8 to 12% bounce rates. The addresses passed validation. They just weren't actually deliverable. The gap is in what gets checked. Syntax validation catches typos. DNS checks catch bad domains. SMTP handshakes catch some nonexistent mailboxes. But none of that tells you whether the address will accept mail from your domain, whether it's flagged as high risk, or whether it's been involved in abuse patterns. One question is "does this address exist." The other is "is this address safe to send to." Most verification tools are built for the first question. The companies with consistent inbox placement are the ones asking the second one. #EmailVerification #Deliverability #DataQualityFind email addresses and send cold emails • HunterFind email addresses and send cold emails • Hunter

Vince Cersosimo posted thisAccount-based marketing depends on knowing exactly who to reach at a target company. The right person, the right title, the right email. But B2B contact data decays faster than most teams expect. People change roles. Leave companies. Get promoted out of buying committees. The contact list you used last quarter may not reflect who's actually there this quarter. An ABM campaign built on stale data is targeting people who aren't in the role anymore. The emails bounce or land in an inbox nobody checks. The ads follow device IDs that no longer belong to your target. The account is right. The contact isn't. A team runs an ABM campaign to 200 target accounts with 800 contacts. The engagement numbers come back lower than expected. When they verify the contact list, 180 of the 800 records are outdated. More than 20% of the campaign hitting the wrong people at the right companies. The teams running effective ABM programs verify their target lists before every campaign. Not after the bounce reports come in. You can't reach the right person with the wrong contact data. The account targeting is only as good as the contact accuracy. #ABM #B2BData #DataQuality

Vince Cersosimo posted thisTwenty states now have comprehensive data privacy laws in effect. More have bills in committee. No two are identical. That's the part most companies underestimate. California has one set of opt out rules. Texas has another. New Jersey's data broker registration carries different obligations than Oregon's. Virginia treats sensitive data differently than Colorado. And the enforcement timelines don't line up either. If your compliance team is treating this as a single checklist, they're behind. Multistate compliance is a data operations problem. You need suppression lists that update on different cadences for different jurisdictions. You need to prove you checked before you contacted someone, not just that you had a policy. The companies handling this well aren't the ones with the biggest legal teams. They're the ones that built verification and suppression into their data pipeline so compliance runs automatically instead of quarterly. Every session, more bills pass. The gap between companies that operationalized compliance and companies still treating it as an annual review is getting wider. #DataPrivacy #Compliance #DataBrokers

Vince Cersosimo posted thisMost companies are still in the "AI strategy" phase. Evaluation committees. Vendor demos. Pilot programs with a 6 month timeline and a quarterly review. We skipped that part. We run 20 AI agents in production. Not a pilot. Not a proof of concept. Daily operations. One builds our financial snapshots every morning. Another monitors security threats around the clock. Another tracks competitive moves across the market. One reviews legal documents. One coaches our sales team with data from their own pipeline. They don't brainstorm. They do the work. The frustration most executives feel about AI comes from the gap between what they hear at conferences and what actually changes on Monday morning. The gap closes when you stop treating AI as a strategy question and start treating it as an operations question. What can this replace today? What does it need to run unsupervised? What breaks if it's wrong? Start there. Skip the deck. #AI #operations

Vince Cersosimo posted thisEvery large scale project that depends on matching people to records has the same hidden dependency. The data has to be right first. In corporate environments, data decays at roughly 22.5% per year. That's with dedicated teams, automation, budget, and a financial reason to keep it accurate. Companies verifying millions of records per quarter still find 20 to 30% need correction or removal. Government databases don't have those feedback loops. No bounce notification when a record goes stale. No campaign metrics flagging bad addresses. No revenue loss tied directly to a wrong field. The entropy is the same. The correction infrastructure isn't. Scale doesn't solve data quality. It magnifies whatever quality problems already exist. Doesn't matter who runs the system. The question isn't whether it can process the volume. It's whether the underlying data can support the match. #dataquality #datainfrastructure

Vince Cersosimo posted thisEvery year around this time, email marketing teams start talking about BFCM strategy. Subject lines. Send cadence. Segmentation. Almost nobody talks about the list. Your sending reputation took 11 months to build. One bad BFCM send can undo it in a weekend. High bounce rates trigger ISP throttling. Throttling tanks your inbox placement. And the emails that do land? They land in promotions or spam because the domain got flagged during the campaign. The teams that consistently perform in Q4 do something boring in September and October. They clean the list. Not a quick pass. A real scrub. Addresses that haven't engaged in 6 months. Role accounts that bounce silently. Domains that stopped accepting mail sometime in August. It's not glamorous work. But the difference between strong inbox placement and poor inbox placement is the difference between a record quarter and a mediocre one. If your Q4 email plan doesn't include a line item for list hygiene before the first send, the plan has a hole in it. #EmailMarketing #Deliverability #DataHygiene

Vince Cersosimo shared thisEmail verification tells you if an address is deliverable. It doesn't tell you if it's safe to use. That gap is why we built Zuvo. A verified address can still belong to a serial complainer, a litigator, a bot, or someone harvesting data. Standard verification confirms the mailbox exists and moves on, and the risk rides along into your campaigns and, more and more, into the AI models trained on that data. Zuvo Protect, the first module, runs 50+ threat filters on every record. It flags the addresses that pass verification but shouldn't be in your file, the ones that hurt sender reputation or create regulatory exposure. For over 15 years we've been learning what bad data does downstream. Zuvo puts that into a self-service platform, so marketers can see what's in their data before they send it or build on it. Vince Cersosimo posted thisMarketing talks about list hygiene constantly. Sales teams rarely do. But the CRM has the same decay problem. Maybe worse. Reps reach out to contacts who changed companies months ago. Pipeline forecasts count deals tied to people who aren't in those roles anymore. The contact record says Director of Marketing. The person left for a VP role somewhere else in April. Your CRM doesn't update itself when someone gets promoted, changes companies, or leaves the industry. The record stays the same. The person behind it doesn't. This isn't a sales problem or a marketing problem. When both teams depend on the same contact data, stale records affect everyone. A marketing campaign built on Q1 contact data is targeting February's org chart, not August's. A sales forecast tied to outdated contacts is counting deals that may not be there. The companies that treat CRM hygiene like they treat marketing list hygiene tend to catch this earlier. Regular verification. Regular updates. Treating contact data as something that changes, not something that's set once and filed. If you're forecasting revenue against contacts you haven't verified in six months, you're forecasting against data that's already moved on. #B2BData #SalesOps #DataQuality

Vince Cersosimo posted thisNot every form submission is a real person. Bots fill out lead gen forms. Competitors stuff fake emails into your funnel. People create throwaway identities to access gated content. The signup happened. The person didn't. The result is a pipeline that looks full but converts poorly. You're spending time and budget marketing to records that were never real. We tend to see this show up in a few patterns. High form volume with low engagement downstream. Unusual spikes in signups from regions you don't sell to. Email addresses that bounce immediately or never open a single message. The teams that verify at point of collection catch this before fake records enter the CRM. The ones that verify downstream spend months nurturing leads that don't exist. The gap isn't the technology you're using to collect signups. It's whether you're checking if the signup is real before you treat it like one. Your marketing automation works. The question is whether it's running on real people or fake ones. #LeadGen #DataQuality #FraudPrevention

Great working with your team on this one, Alexander. The results speak for themselves. When you get the automation layer right and keep humans in the loop for the hard calls, the data quality follows. Looking forward to what we build next.

Vince Cersosimo liked thisVince Cersosimo liked thisI did something risky, or at least I keep being told that it’s risky. I left my safe, secure UX Design job to pursue my own web design business. Today was my last day and I’ve never been more eager to start working. The road ahead of me will no doubt be filled with trials and errors, but that’s what I’m excited for. To me, the riskier move would’ve been to never venture out on my own and at least give it a try. I would never know the opportunities and relationships that I would miss out on. If you or someone you know needs a new website or a website redesign, send them my way! I love working with small business owners and other entrepreneurs to help them solve issues they’re struggling with and generate more leads. God only knows what the future holds, so I’ll keep walking in faith, even when I cannot see! It’s a great day to be alive!!💜
