Vinay Rao, VP of Engineering for Cloud AI at Google, explains one of the greatest challenges he saw as Head of Safety at Anthropic. Coordinated fraud and attacks move fluidly across platforms. The teams responsible for stopping them do not. They sit inside separate companies, with separate processes and separate visibility, which makes these attacks difficult to anticipate and harder to contain. Challenges like this one will keep surfacing as AI is deployed at scale. It is a privilege to sit with the people solving them and hear where they think it is all heading. I've been in tech for 15+ years, and the pace and intensity from product teams to go from concept to market over the last ~9 months is by far the highest I've ever seen.

Safeguarding healthcare information means planning for how data will be protected decades into the future. Because adversaries may target encrypted health records today to decrypt later once advanced quantum computers arrive, upgrading to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) is critical. Implementing PQC in healthcare infrastructure helps protect sensitive patient data against potential emerging threats. Learn more at: https://lnkd.in/ed9sgFuz

What resonated with me the most on this post, is not the lack of documentation (i.e. nobody knows how the machine works), the slowness or corporate doing nothing. It is that nobody is thinking anymore, and I would say that this is something that will hit us pretty hard at some point.
