Logan Green reposted thisHuge milestone: Lyft is now running day-to-day fleet operations for Waymo in Nashville. 🎉 This is what it means to be a true AV partner. I'm so proud of our flexdrive team for the incredible work. Years of fleet management expertise so well put into action.Logan Green reposted thisBig milestone for the Flexdrive team this week as our staff has fully taken over day-to-day fleet operations for Waymo out of their temporary depot in Nashville. Getting here took real partnership and mutual trust. Waymo brought us into their world over the last few months, training us on their vehicles, standards and processes. We listened and built a great playbook around it, applying the many years of experience Flexdrive brings to the table from rideshare. The best is yet to come from our collaboration with Waymo as we finish up the permanent depot opening later this fall. Special thanks to the flexdrive and Lyft teams, and of course everyone at Waymo for the incredible teamwork.

Logan Green reposted thisLogan Green reposted thisToday, I’m excited to share that Petual has raised $20M to move audit from process-heavy work to judgment. Our raise includes a $17M round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and a $3.2M round led by First Round Capital, with participation from Cowboy Ventures, Elad Gil, the founders of Lyft, Opendoor, and more. SOX compliance and internal audit are among the most manual, resource-intensive processes in any public company. Auditors wade through hundreds of support files per control test. PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, screenshots, and more. Just to determine whether a control operated correctly. Tens of millions of hours and $8B are spent on this every year. We knew this had to change. That teams deserved to apply more of their judgment and manage risk, rather than get buried in the mechanical. That's why we built Petual. Petual brings agentic AI to SOX testing and internal audit, autonomously gathering evidence and generating auditor-ready work papers in minutes instead of hours. Our customers -- S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 companies spanning energy, infrastructure, SaaS, manufacturing, financial services, and more -- can see 68–80% efficiency gains on SOX workflows. Huge thanks to our investors, early customers like Navan and Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc., and the many other customers who’ve been part of this journey; and of course, our incredible team. If you're in audit or compliance and want to see Petual in action, let’s talk.

Logan Green reposted thisLogan Green reposted thisToday we're launching Accomplish FREE - powered by our new hybrid model router. Since we launched Accomplish a few weeks ago, we've been blown away by what users are building with it. Hundreds of thousands of you downloaded the app and took it for a spin, but one thing kept coming up: not everyone wants to bring their own API key just to get started. So today we're fixing that with free, built-in models - made possible by a massive shift that's happened in just the past few weeks: the rise of fully hosted open-weight models - locally on your Windows machine with NVIDIA GeForce, on your Mac with Apple MLX, or on Accomplish cloud, for FREE. Our new hybrid routing algorithm dynamically routes between cloud models and models running locally on your machine - optimizing for local execution by automatically detecting your hardware capabilities and each sub-task's complexity: coding, visuals, simple classifications - every LLM call is routed to the best model. We also brought some of our favorite enterprise features to the free tier: scheduled task dispatch, Google Workspace integration (Docs, Sheets, Slides) via the new Google Workspace CLI, native Slack MCP connectivity, and more. Accomplish FREE is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Download, send a task - and boom, it just works with ZERO configuration! Download it from our website (link in first comment)

Logan Green reposted thisLogan Green reposted thisThis milestone belongs to all of you. Today we're announcing Quilt has raised a $20M Series B, bringing our total funding to $64M. But this isn't really about the money. It's about what we're building together: proof that the energy transition is here, happening in homes right now, and it's better in every way. Growing up in Alberta, oil and gas was the economy. Our hockey teams are literally called the Oilers and the Flames. But while fossil fuels powered human progress for centuries, it's time for something better. The energy transition isn't some distant concept. It's June, a retiree who installed Quilt in her manufactured home to move off gas. It's Wilsons Heating in Nova Scotia — a 106-year-old business that transitioned from selling coal to installing Quilt heat pumps. And it's our 60+ Quilt Certified Partners who are the real backbone of this movement — educators and community builders bringing cleaner, more efficient comfort into homes one installation at a time. People are choosing Quilt not just because it's the right thing for the planet, but because it genuinely makes their lives better. We save people money, and the numbers tell the story: - 20% more efficient than the next-best ductless heat pumps - 80% more efficient at cooling than what most North Americans have today - 400% more efficient at heating than traditional systems In the past year, we've grown from the Bay Area to 16 states and 5 provinces. From zero installed products to nearly 1,000 — a number we'll surpass before the end of the year. This funding from Energy Impact Partners, Galvanize, Lowercarbon Capital, Gradient, Alumni Ventures, Incite.org and others unlocks faster growth and expanded impact. More service areas, and accelerated product development. We're also welcoming Tom vonReichbauer (former CFO of Nest, Sunrun, and ICON) and Veery Maxwell (co-head of Galvanize's Innovation + Expansion fund) to our board. But the real power of this community is what happens when you share your experience with neighbors, friends, and family. Every conversation about your Quilt system grows this movement. The energy transition comes home one installation at a time. Thank you for being part of our journey. Logan Green reposted thisLogan Green reposted thisI’m proud to share that Yendo has raised a $50 million Series B from Spice Expeditions, LP, Autotech Ventures, FPV Ventures, Pelion Venture Partners, Clocktower Ventures, Mark Cuban and others. At Yendo, we’re reimagining consumer finance by fundamentally transforming the credit landscape in the United States. Our mission is to unleash the $4 trillion in consumer assets owned by everyday Americans, assets that sit idle while millions face high borrowing costs and limited access to credit. We believe AI will redefine consumer finance by driving radical cost reduction and inclusion and we’re leading that charge. Our proprietary AI platform builds dynamic identities between assets and consumers, unlocking asset equity in seconds and creating smarter and more powerful financial offerings across the credit spectrum. Our first product proved what’s possible by turning vehicle equity into usable credit in seconds at a fraction of the cost of traditional lenders. In a few short years our credit cards have saved our customers over $200 million in interest and fees compared to their previous options. These cards unlock various assets to deliver the highest limits, lowest costs, and most rewarding experiences in the market. But we’re just getting started. This raise fuels our expansion into broader financial services, asset classes, and customer segments as we continue to leverage our platform on our path to reprice consumer finance and create lasting financial opportunity for millions. Logan Green reposted thisSo cool to see all the companies started by ex-Lyft colleagues. And I know there are more!Logan Green reposted thisStripe, Square, Brex… and now, Lyft. New Mafia just dropped. And it's a big one. Can you spot any patterns in the companies ex-Lyft founders are building? Did we miss anyone? Tag them in the comments! Gagan Biyani started Maven, a platform for cohort-based courses focused on career growth and leadership. This isn’t his first edtech startup; prior to Lyft, Gagan co-founded Udemy. Malcolm Ong co-founded Skillshare, the online learning community for creatives. More recently, he co-founded security startup Terminal 3. Vinay Shet and Rom (Romain) Clement co-founded Teleo after working on self-driving cars at Lyft. The construction robotics company retrofits heavy equipment, like excavators and loaders, to turn them into autonomous robots that can operate with remote supervision. Michael Spelfogel co-founded Cardless, creating credit cards for brands. Companies using Cardless can launch co-branded cards to get more consumer spend, data, and engagement. Kevin Tian co-founded risk protection platform Doppel. It uses genAI to disrupt social engineering attacks. Lita Cho co-founded Moment Technolgoies to help infra and platform teams build better internal tools. They make interactive docs for dev teams. Lucy Hoag, PhD founded Violet Labs to help eng teams abolish silos. Their software integration platform connects complex hardware engineering data into one single source of truth. Abhinav V. co-founded web3 data science platform Hyperline. The platform helps teams power their analytics, data science, and ML workloads. Pradeep Elankumaran co-founded Jo (askjo), an AI assistant designed for speed. He previously co-founded vertically-integrated grocery delivery service Farmstead. Ketan U. co-founded AI orchestration platform Union. It’s a unified infrastructure management platform for data & AI workloads. Jay Chia co-founded Eventual, a data warehouse for ML/AI. They also released Daft, an open-sourced distributed data query engine. Miguel Toledo co-founded Flex (YC S23). The ‘Stripe for HSA/FSA’ helps businesses accept HSA/FSA cards, increasing customers & sales while making it easier for people buy health-related items online. John Houston worked on self-driving cars at both Lyft and Uber. He co-founded Mythos AI to apply his learnings to the maritime sector, building next generation marine autonomy. Ashesh Jain co-founded Coram AI, powering AI Security for physical locations and operations. Their security camera is compatible with any IP camera. Anthony Krivonos co-founded Toma, building an AI workforce – or customizable AI suite handling everything from phone calls to messaging to reporting – for automotive dealerships. (more in comments)

Logan Green reacted on thisLogan Green reacted on thisHere's something you don't hear enough about: the importance of the relationship between Board Chair and CEO. When it's strong, it's a force-multiplier: two people seeking opportunities, grappling with issues, and lighting the Board and management team on fire to move a company forward. That's how Sean Aggarwal shows up as Lyft's Board Chair. No wonder he's just been named to the NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) Directorship 100! Sean guided us from an SF startup through our IPO to sustained profitability. Now as he's doing the same as we move into our next chapter of growth, driven by international expansion, premium rides, and autonomous vehicles. Through it all he's built and lead the team with with rigor and poise Huge congratulations, Sean. Here’s to 10 great years and many more. https://lnkd.in/gqax-ZBn

Logan Green liked thisLogan Green liked thisLove to see it! Canada is leaning into Heat Pumps and Quilt is here to show why. The federal government could have picked any brand to be the backdrop of this landmark announcement. They chose Quilt. Our partner who hosted this event, Heat Pump Solutions in St. John's Newfoundland, directed them to Quilt as the best example of why Canadians should be excited about this technology. I couldn't ask for a better endorsement.

Logan Green liked thisLogan Green liked thisWe just raised $320M in growth funding from General Catalyst. When we started Otter, we had a simple idea: so much important knowledge is spoken in meetings, and most of it is lost the moment the call ends. So we built the AI meeting notetaker, before “AI notetaker” was even a category. Today more than 40 million people use Otter, including teams at 86% of the Fortune 500. Our speech recognition was ranked #1 on Hugging Face’s ASR leaderboard, ahead of Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, NVIDIA and everyone else. I’m really proud of our team for that. The notetaker is our foundation. On top of it, we built something bigger: the Conversational Knowledge Engine for the enterprise. Think about it. Every company has a CRM for customers, an HR system for employees and an ERP for finance. But the real decisions happen in conversations, and there has never been a system of record for them. That’s what Otter is becoming. Otter doesn’t just take notes. It understands who said what, remembers it across meetings, and does the follow-up work for you: updates your CRM, sends the recap, assigns next steps. You don’t have to prompt it. This investment from GC confirms our vision. Their Customer Value Fund backs companies that know exactly what each marketing dollar brings back. We’ll use the money to accelerate our growth, build enterprise sales, expand into international markets, and ship faster. Thank you Pranav Singhvi, Karanveer Mohan and the GC team for believing in us. Thank you Yun Fu for building this with me. And thank you to every Otter employee and customer. This is your win. We’re just getting started. https://lnkd.in/gbBYZuZn #EnterpriseAI #VoiceAI #Funding #OtterAI.

Logan Green liked thisLogan Green liked thisBy year-end 2026, 6 companies are expected to spend $870B+ on AI infrastructure. Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Oracle and SpaceX spent ~$470B in 2025, and S&P forecasts they will reach $1.3T in 2027. At that pace, their businesses can’t fund it on their own. S&P expects all 6 to generate negative free operating cash flow in both 2026 and 2027, and doesn’t project a recovery until 2029. You can see the shift in the filings. As recently as early 2024, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Microsoft were investing ~40% of their operating cash flow into capex. Over the past four quarters, that’s risen to 77%. The gap is now being filled with debt, new shares, leases, and increasingly with more complex structures. My team put together a Deep Dive exploring whether the AI buildout is leading to a private credit bubble. Read it here: https://lnkd.in/gXwKTGvg

Logan Green liked thisA month ago I said I’d share my next step soon. I’ve joined Petual as Head of Marketing, the company’s first marketing hire. I wanted to get back to an early-stage growth company, with the caliber of investors to match in Andreessen Horowitz and First Round Capital. Today Petual runs control testing for internal audit teams, for SOX and the controls beyond it, and there’s a lot more to come, as the work of audit keeps outpacing its capacity. From the FP&A side, I watched planning software manage the work, but it never changed the way the work got done. Everyone was always building a neater, more sophisticated spreadsheet. Audit has the same problem: the software tracked the work of audit, yet never changed the work. a16z made the same argument about the whole finance stack last week, link in the comments. Meeting Snir, David, Eliot, Daniel and Renee, it was the way they think about the problem, starting small with a high bar, that won me over. They have a big vision, authenticity, humility and deep passion for customers, and I get to carry that into marketing. Now I get the pleasure of building marketing here from scratch, and serving a customer community I already admire. Let’s go.

Logan Green liked thisLogan Green liked thisOne of the first questions I kept hearing after I joined Lyft was: “Why can’t I just use Lyft when I travel abroad?” Fair question. And that’s changing now. 🌍 Starting with Barcelona and Hamburg, and rolling out across major European cities this month, North American riders can use the same Lyft app, account, and payment methods they already use at home. No new app to download. Open the Lyft app and get a ride. What I love about this launch is that there was no magical 10X AI moment. Big gains don’t always come from one breakthrough. Creating a simple experience means working through the grind of removing friction across the path from idea to customer experience: connecting Lyft to another mobility marketplace, standing up our first EU cloud region, and handling compliance, payments, and fare rules market by market. AI made each of those steps faster, and together that helped the team move faster and launch ahead of schedule. I’m incredibly proud of the team. Huge credit to everyone across Lyft who made this happen.

Logan Green reacted on thisLogan Green reacted on thisBringing autonomous vehicles to a city as complex and dynamic as London is no small feat. The progress we've already made testing Lyft with Baidu, Inc. Inc. Apollo Go AVs is incredible. We’re working in close partnership with Transport for London (TfL), local regulators, and community leaders to help shape the future of British transit. You may have seen the purpose-built RT6 vehicles logging miles across Brent as it navigates real-world urban routes. I couldn't be more excited as we gear up to launch commercial service next year. 🇬🇧

Lyft is introducing a feature that lets teenagers to use the rideshare app and addresses obstacles keeping Gen Alpha from getting out into the real world. The Lyft Teen feature launched on Monday and allows teens 13 to 17 years old to request rides, while letting parents control their teens’ ability to hail a driver through their own app. The rides will require PIN verification, audio recording when given microphone access, Smart Trip Check-In for unusual route changes, as well as a live ride-tracking feature for parents. The teen profiles are available to Lyft users with verified accounts. Lyft Teen is available in more than 200 major markets, including New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. The feature will expand throughout the year, according to the company. Lyft Teen is meant to address the rising cost of cars and insurance for young drivers in addition to the parental workload of picking up and dropping off kids, according to CEO David Risher. But the feature also emerged from the reputation Gen Alpha (the generation born from 2010 to today) has acquired as being less independent as other generations were as teenagers. Uber had $3B in the bank. Lyft had 5 months left to live. Everyone told John Zimmer to give up. Instead, Lyft fought back with a guerrilla strategy, a stronger mission, and a culture people actually wanted to be part of. In this week’s episode of The Library of Minds, I sat down with Lyft’s co-founder to talk about crafting a standout brand, competing as the underdog, and dealing with the existential pressure that comes with leading a hypergrowth company. Some moments from the episode: • Why John refused to let Uber win uncontested • The Lyft strategies nobody talks about • How COVID wiped out 80% of the business overnight • Founder mental health during survival mode • Why brand and authenticity matter even more in the AI era • The real reason he stepped away from Lyft • Why hiring exceptional people is still the ultimate edge

Lyft's move to integrate NYC yellow cabs signals a shift in the rideshare landscape. Addressing driver shortages by partnering with traditional taxis could be a strategic win-win. It expands Lyft's reach while providing cab drivers access to a broader customer base. Interesting to see how this plays out in other markets. Will it redefine urban mobility? #Rideshare #Transportation #Innovation #FutureofWork

Today, Lyft reported earnings. Q1 was a quarter of near-term execution and long-term momentum. We delivered double-digit growth year over year across Gross Bookings and Adjusted EBITDA, and generated strong cash flow – all while advancing our long-term strategy. We acquired Gett’s UK business, made progress on our Nashville AV operations, and repurchased ~$300 million in shares. Looking to Q2, we expect an acceleration across the business, all while continuing to provide customer-obsessed innovation for riders and drivers. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gqWAH_2g
