The email originated from a Gmail address and is not associated with me or Walgreens. Unfortunately, scams like this are increasingly common in the recruiting space. If you receive a message that appears to come from me and something feels off, consider the following precautions: • Check the email domain carefully • Be cautious of Gmail or non-company email addresses • You can always message me directly on LinkedIn to confirm I have reported this to the appropriate security teams, but I wanted to share this information so others in my network can stay informed. I’m excited to share that I’ve joined MedWiz Rx as Head of Human Resources! I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and challenged me along the way. I’m especially thankful for the mentors, colleagues, friends, and family who have helped prepare me for this moment. Over the past several months, the messages, introductions, words of encouragement, advice, recommendations, and overall support have truly meant the world to me. I asked ChatGPT: “Based on everything you know about my career, how I work, and what I’ve done, what would you say my top 3 professional ‘superpowers’ are in superhero terms?” What it came up with was actually pretty cool. My top 3 "professional superpowers" were: 1. The Chaos Converter Turning confusion, broken processes, scattered priorities, and unclear ownership into structure, clarity, and action. 2. The Strategy Translator Connecting the business mission to the people strategy, and helping leaders turn goals into something teams can understand, believe in, and execute. 3. The Razzle Dazzle Effect Bringing energy, humanity, momentum, and high standards into work that may feel stuck, heavy, or uninspired. The tagline it gave me was: “Joseph Lanzo: The leader who turns chaos into clarity, strategy into action, and ordinary work into something people believe in.” I’ll admit, that one made me smile. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve as both a Product Manager and Manager of Customer Success Managers—experiences that challenged me to grow in ways I never expected. They deepened my understanding of business strategy, customer experience, operational excellence, and leading through influence. Most importantly, they broadened my perspective on what it takes to build and scale high-performing organizations. As I return to talent acquisition, I’m bringing those lessons with me. More than ever, I believe that talent strategy is business strategy. The ability to connect workforce planning, leadership hiring, and organizational goals is one of the most impactful ways to drive long-term success. I’m incredibly grateful to the leaders, peers, and teammates who have supported me throughout this journey. Thank you for the trust, mentorship, partnership, and countless moments of laughter along the way.
