Jay Jamison shared thisCongrats, Amy Frampton! A decade of watching you operate in high-growth environments — Smartsheet, BambooHR, and others — and this makes complete sense. You've always known how to keep companies anchored to their customers when everything else is moving fast. Highly recommend for any team serious about building stronger client connections at scale.Jay Jamison shared thisThere's a moment in every growth story when speed starts to quietly work against you. You add headcount. New channels. More products. The market shifts. The board wants a tighter story. Everyone is doing their job, yet somehow, the customer gets lost in the noise. Kristin Flandreau and I have both lived this. And it's why we built Inflection Marketing. Here's what we've seen over and over: when GTM starts to break down, it's rarely about effort, but: • Leadership isn't aligned • The message sounds different depending on who's telling it • Decisions are being made off assumptions instead of what customers are actually saying. The companies that scale well fiercely protect three things: a clear narrative, strong alignment, and a real connection to customer reality. That's the foundation. Without it, growth gets harder, not easier. Our approach is simple: Customer Signal → Alignment → Scalable Growth. Between us, Kristin and I have 40+ years leading marketing and product marketing in B2B tech. We've been in the messy middle of pivots, rapid scaling, and integrations. We know what it feels like when a team loses its footing AND what it takes to get it back. We wrote a piece together that captures the pattern and what to do before things stall. I'll link to it in the first comment. If any of this resonates, we'd love to connect. DM us, follow our company page, or just say hi. Jay Jamison shared thisCongratulations to Mark Ellis, Phil Crosby, Harry Robertson, and the entire Liftoff Mobile team on today’s IPO. I still remember meeting the three founders in a conference room when Liftoff was just getting started — three people, a prototype, and a clear point of view on where mobile user acquisition was headed. Since then, it has been remarkable to watch the company grow through market shifts, competitive pressure, and many chapters of reinvention, while remaining impressively capital efficient and customer focused along the way. Aimée Vincent Jamison and I were fortunate to be able to invest personally in those earliest days, and we are grateful to have watched a small piece of the journey up close. Mostly, though, today feels like a moment to recognize the founders and the team who built something enduring. Mark, Phil, Harry — congratulations. You deserve all the flowers. Onwards! 🚀Jay Jamison shared thisToday is a special day. Fourteen years ago, in an incubation space in Palo Alto, Harry, Phil and I set out to build a company that could help mobile app businesses grow in a rapidly changing world. What began as a small startup with a big vision has evolved into something much larger than we could have imagined. Today, I'm thrilled to celebrate the IPO of Liftoff (LFTO) on the Nasdaq. Building a company is never the work of a few individuals. This milestone belongs to the thousands of employees, customers, partners, investors and friends who believed in our vision and helped bring it to life. I am deeply grateful to every person who contributed to the journey. I'm especially thankful to my co-founders, Harry and Phil, whose talent, determination and friendship made the early years both possible and unforgettable. The challenges we faced together and the opportunities we pursued shaped not only the company but all of us as leaders. I'm also grateful to our investors over the years, including Fred Warren and our other early stage seed investors and later Blackstone and General Atlantic, whose partnership helped position the company for continued success. While an IPO is an important milestone, it's ultimately a reflection of the incredible team that continues to drive Liftoff forward. I'm excited to see what comes next. Congratulations to everyone who has been part of the Liftoff story. Today is a day worth celebrating. #Liftoff #IPO #NASDAQ #LFTO #Entrepreneurship #Leadership

Jay Jamison shared thisDeeply saddened and heartbroken to read of S. Somasegar's passing. He was a giant of a technical leader at Microsoft, with a warmth, reserve, and drive that were an inspiring mix to be around. Soma was one of the greats. In an industry that moves ever faster, it is easy to forget to pause and reflect on the remarkable people we get to work with shoulder to shoulder. I feel fortunate to count him among them. My heart goes out to his family and dear friends. https://lnkd.in/gxsa7tQb

Jay Jamison shared thisToday, Ncontracts launched Nquiry — auditable, accurate compliance answers in minutes for banks, credit unions, mortgage companies, and wealth managers. The problem we set out to solve is one we heard on nearly every customer call: institutions are tired of "waiting on compliance." Answers take days. Confidence is hard-won. The audit trail gets stitched together after the fact. Nquiry changes that — built on 17 years of proprietary Ncontracts regulatory data, refined across our nearly 5,000 clients in the financial industry, and backed by our Compliance Concierge team for expert escalation. Early client reaction has been stellar. Enormous thanks to the product, engineering, design, and compliance experts who built this. You stayed obsessed with what customers actually need — and shipped it. This week marks one year since I joined Ncontracts. Days like today are exactly why I joined: driving an AI-first innovation agenda aimed at solving meaningful problems for our clients. We placed a bold bet, and this team is delivering an outstanding solution. Thanks all. Onwards. 🚀Jay Jamison shared this✨ Introducing Nquiry: Auditable. Accurate. Answers. Now. Jay Jamison shared thisI appreciate the opportunity to join Hg at their first ever CPO AI Summit and share the transformation story underway at Ncontracts as we drive to become a product centric AI first market leader delivering unmatched value to our clients. It was to pull back the curtain on how we're reimagining risk management for the 4,000+ financial institutions we serve. Moving from traditional software to AI-native solutions isn't just about technology—it's about fundamentally changing how our clients work, giving them hours back in their day to focus on what matters most. The recent launch of our Regression Intelligence and Complaint Intelligence offerings at Ngage was just the beginning. Seeing clients describe these tools as "game changing" validates the direction we're heading . And we're only just getting started. None of this happens without an incredible team. From our R&D and engineering teams building these capabilities, to our product managers deeply understanding client workflows, to everyone who's embracing this transformation—this is truly a collective effort. Grateful to work alongside such talented and dedicated people as we build the future of GRC together. Onwards.Jay Jamison shared thisYesterday, 50+ product leaders from across the Hg portfolio came together for the CPO AI Summit to discuss how we will reshape product management & leadership in the AI era. Read more on why the CPO is becoming the centre of the universe: https://lnkd.in/enUas3dx Our mandate is clear - understanding that in every platform shift, the playbook must be rewritten, not updated. AI is changing how we build products, the pace at which we can move, the depth of customer understanding and the definition of success. CPOs today must master the art of customer workflows deeply, embed adoption thinking from day 1, and orient their roadmaps around the required outcomes and the problems we’re solving, not features we’re building. The goals are clear - deliver lasting customer value through better products, a deep understanding of your customers' pain points, faster innovation, and stronger product leadership. The opening evening saw Avaneesh Marwaha of Litera, and Hg's David Issott discuss defending market position against AI-native competitors – a conversation that underscored the urgency of resetting product ambition. Matthew Brockman kicked off the main day, underscoring the importance of product and CPO in the shift to AI. Oji Udezue (Twitter, Calendly, Atlassian & Typeform to name a few) delivered an inspiring keynote on how the role of the CPO is rapidly evolving – humility & agency are ever important. Lindsay Sparks, Hg Serial Chair, discussed setting a clear product direction and owning ‘the last mile’, bringing to life how he’s done this at the Hg businesses he chairs. Carrie Osman, CEO & Founder of Cruxy, and Christopher Maloof, Chair of Benevity, explored why deep customer understanding is now the true advantage for product leaders. We also heard from product leaders from across the portfolio – including Ashley Sakai Berenson, Derek Bluestone, Jay Jamison, Wes Childs, Travis A. – on how they have reshaped their teams and approach to what great product management looks like in the age of AI – from embedding deep workflow discovery, rapid prototyping and inclusion of telemetry into every build, to early alignment with GTM and customers teams to successfully build, launch, and drive adoption of new products. Across the sessions and discussions, one thing was clear: the CPO role is expanding – from delivery to cross-functional orchestration, from roadmap management to reinvention. The opportunity is vast, and the imperative to accelerate our businesses toward true product-led, AI-enabled growth has never been more critical. Thank you to everyone for the depth and candour you brought to the conversations. We look forward to continuing this dialogue with our CPO community as we build the next generation of products together. That's exactly what happened with our Ntelligence offerings – both our Regression Ntelligence and Complaint Ntelligence solutions. What makes this moment particularly meaningful is HOW we got here. Jay Jamison liked thisToday is my last day at Vista Equity Partners. I arrived over nine years ago as an associate, coming from credit, with no shortage of people politely suggesting private equity wasn't an obvious fit. I will be forever grateful to have found a firm that took a chance on me, invested in me, and helped open doors I never thought possible growing up in a tiny town in New Hampshire. What I will carry with me most are the incredible people I had the privilege to meet and partner with, and the friendships I hope will last for many years to come. I deeply believe that good people are at the core of any great business, and I feel lucky to have worked alongside so many outstanding ones. Thank you to the colleagues who trusted me, the operators who taught me so much, and the mentors who were so generous in helping me along the way. I am better at this, and a better human, because of all of you. More to come on my next chapter. In the meantime, happy Halloween!!!

We’re making it easier for people to build applications that solve real workplace challenges, whether it’s replacing a spreadsheet, simplifying a process or bringing scattered information into one place. No software development experience required. We’ll be sharing more of what that looks like with stories of real people, real problems and real working apps. Welcome to Pave.

Jay Jamison liked thisJay Jamison liked thisI tested most of the AI cold outreach tools out there. My verdict: AI won’t replace sales reps in outbound. At least not for now. Cold outreach still needs a human touch. That goes for calls, emails, and messages. A prospect might sound annoyed on the phone or ignore your first message. You still need to know how to respond like a person, not just send the next step in a sequence. You want to proof me wrong?

Jay Jamison liked thisJay Jamison liked thisAnthropic just published a review of cases where its own agents worked around restrictions to finish a task. Credit to them for sharing it openly. None of it started as malicious. The agents were trying to get the job done. That’s what makes this hard. The riskiest cases won’t look like break-ins. They’ll involve valid credentials, an approved tool and a legitimate objective. Most of those cases were found later, through a review of transcripts. Every enterprise we talk to is in the same situation: agents in production, and a record of what they did after the fact. “But we already log everything.” That’s true. But logging what an agent did is not containment. The enforcement point has to sit where it can stop an out-of-scope action before it runs. That’s the missing infrastructure layer: control at the moment an agent acts. It’s what we built Draco to do. Powered by Helix, Draco finds every agent across the enterprise, registered or not, and checks each action before it lands, including high-risk ones like data deletion and production changes. Teams don’t change their agent code or add an SDK, and it works across every cloud, vendor and team. Here’s Draco in 90 seconds. Logs record the action. Runtime governance decides it. #AgenticAI #AIGovernance #AISecurity #Alterion

The JD Power Q4 2025 Financial Services Churn Data and Analytics report dropped last week, and every credit union CEO needs to read it carefully. The headline is stark: FinTech brands like Chime and SoFi are attracting and converting new accounts faster than established financial services brands. And Chime is not just winning on volume. It posted the highest conversion rate for both checking accounts (78%) and savings accounts (85%) among all brands evaluated. Here is what makes this especially alarming for credit unions: the threat is not a frontal attack. It is a slow bleed. Nearly half of all new checking accounts opened in late 2025 were secondary accounts, held by consumers who already had existing banking relationships. This pattern of gradual attrition can quietly erode deposit primacy, interchange revenue, and cross-selling opportunities long before a member formally leaves. JD Power put it plainly: "We are clearly seeing a trend toward more consumer interest and experimentation with relatively new FinTech brands, particularly in the mass market segment. Incumbent brands need to monitor this trend closely and make sure they are continuing to connect with the right customers at the right time with the right approach." That message is directed squarely at credit unions and community banks. The mass market segment, where credit unions historically hold their deepest relationships, is exactly where FinTechs are winning. Fintech platforms are benefiting from streamlined account-opening journeys and user-focused mobile interfaces that resonate with younger and digitally engaged consumers. Credit unions built their brand on member service and community trust. That advantage does not disappear overnight. But trust alone will not stop a member from opening a Chime account because the onboarding took 90 seconds. The window to respond is closing. Digital transformation is not a future initiative for credit unions. It is a present-day survival strategy. What is your credit union doing to defend its primary deposit relationships? #CreditUnions #CommunityBanking #FinTech #DigitalTransformation #Chime #SoFi #JDPower #CoreBanking #DepositGrowth #MemberExperience #Neobanks #BankingInnovation #CreditUnionLeadership #Finserv #ButlerBrief

Running multiple ventures means your brain is the bottleneck. You're context-switching between founder mode, investor updates, board prep, and your day job—losing hours to scattered notes and scattered thinking. Sovi consolidates what founders actually need: your daily brief, all ventures in one view, your financial picture, decision logs, and the space to think clearly about what matters. Your operating system shouldn't require you to stitch together five tools. https://lnkd.in/gXk4_z5m

During last week's "What is CRM in 2026?" Playaz convo series Paul Greenberg and I did an investor panel with Scott Beechuk, Anand Thaker, Larry Augustin, and Keith Teare to get some insight into how folks who spent years in enterprise app development before going the investment route saw the year ahead. And one of the questions that came up was around the #AI bubble - whether they thought it actually exhisted and - if it did - would it blow up sometime next year. And I would say Keith had the most definitive answer on this one, which you can check out in the minute or so clip below. And if you want to check the full interaction that broke out it's posted on CRM Magazine's site at https://lnkd.in/etGYUG9w. Also over there is the edited transcript of the full exchange along with a summary and analysis via #Gemini. Much more to come. #CRMin2026 #marginexpansion

One of the best recent podcasts about the state of GTM in 2026: https://lnkd.in/gPQnuzYg Jeanne DeWitt Grosser lays out one of the clearest visions we’ve heard of how AI is reshaping go-to-market. Two ideas that really stood out for the team here at Codia. 1. AI is collapsing GTM roles through personalization at scale. As AI deeply personalizes every customer interaction, the traditional boundaries between AEs, SEs, and CSMs start to fade. Everyone becomes a consultative operator because AI is handling the heavy lifting: tailoring messaging, surfacing context, and adapting in real time to each customer’s needs. 2. The dealbot era is here. Vercel’s use of AI agents on top of Gong data - analyzing lost deals, surfacing insights in real time, diagnosing sales process issues - is a preview of where GTM systems are heading. Why this resonated so strongly: this is exactly what we’re building at Codia. And one of the biggest gaps we’ve seen - and where we’re intentionally differentiated - is deep personalization during deal execution, not just after the fact. 🔹 Where today’s “dealbots” are layered on top of legacy systems like Gong, Codia is the AI-native version of this future - not an add-on, but a fully integrated GTM intelligence layer. 🔹 Where today’s “dealbots” analyze after the fact, Codia brings personalization and intelligence directly into the live deal execution cycle. If you’re curious what AI-native, deeply personalized deal execution looks like, let us set up a free trial to see the magic yourself! 👀🚀 https://lnkd.in/g7g3Jgd9

Most lenders eventually reach the same decision point. After wrestling with vendors and fighting through process inefficiencies, the idea of building your own automation feels tempting. I get it, every large bank, MI, or IMB goes through the “We should build it ourselves” phase. The motivation is valid. The workload is not. But here’s the pattern I’ve seen again and again: teams dive in, spin up big internal initiatives, and after months of development they run straight into the reality of the problem. It’s not a rules engine. It’s not OCR. It’s not an API call. It’s hundreds of document types, countless income scenarios, legacy LOS constraints, workflows that change file to file, and the demand for audit transparency wrapped around every decision. That’s why many organizations eventually pivot back to specialized platforms. Not because their teams can’t build, but because solving document intelligence, income automation, and workflow logic at production scale requires thousands of hours of domain-specific learning. Automation at scale isn’t a side project. It’s a discipline. And the lenders who move fastest are the ones who partner where it makes sense and focus their internal teams on strategic advantage instead of reinventing the wheel. Message me or set up a short discovery call with a member of my team if you want to dig deeper >> https://true.ai/demo/

Founders are often optimistic about growth. Sometimes, that confidence leads to funding ideas that don't fully pan out. Royalty-based growth capital is structured to limit downside risk compared to traditional venture-backed paths. Vik Thapar of Cypress Growth Capital explains that, even if outcomes fall short of early expectations, founders often still exit with meaningful results because they retain the majority of ownership. 🎙️ Tune into the Private Equity Value Creation Podcast: https://lnkd.in/gxkEsH3Z 👇🏽 Find Us Here https://lnkd.in/gTdPMk8P #privateequity #privateequitypodcast #privateequityvaluecreation

Happy Friday. Quick thought for digital banking leaders before everyone logs off. Just had a great conversation with a CU leader around the $3T deposit outflow to fintechs and how it did not start with rates. It started when too many institutions stopped showing up in the everyday moments that shape financial behavior. I keep coming back to this: A young adult opens their banking app. They want clarity. They want a next step. They want to feel financial progress. Instead, they get a balance screen and no real help. That is the deeper problem. No digital engagement = no growth. For credit unions especially, people helping people” has to live in the digital experience too. If we care about democratizing wealth, help has to be easy to reach, timely, and built for real life. That is how relevance is won back. Not with more noise. With better guidance when it actually matters.
