Frank Furlan shared thisGreat share. Thank you. Maybe it’s elemental but you can get so much more accomplished surrounded by a team than wasting time organizing Zoom, or other virtual meetings. Today’s world loves to say we’re “busy” but I assure you that’s organizational, not accomplishing anything. I’m a fan of open floor plans and meeting/huddle rooms too. In person is the way to go. Frank Furlan posted thisI’m in Eugene, Oregon right now and wanted to purchase new Nike’s for beaten down and battered New Balance sneakers. Both are great brands. What really surprised me is Nike’s trade in policy for recycling. Paid full price and was glad to as they took my New Balance back to proper environmental recycling no questions asked. Despite it being a competitor, they got the bigger picture. Bravo Nike #recycling #environmentalprotection #nike #leadership

A product category can change even when the product itself looks familiar.Sette originally expected bridal jewelry to represent a larger part of its business. Instead, customers began wearing sizable solitaire diamonds—designs traditionally associated with engagement rings—on pinky, middle and pointer fingers. This suggests that familiar bridal design codes are moving beyond the occasions that once defined them. For collection development, the opportunity is not simply to relabel an engagement ring. The proportions, comfort, setting height and price architecture may all need to change when a piece is designed for everyday self-purchase rather than a proposal. It also raises an important assortment question. Should rings continue to be organized primarily by occasion, or should brands begin presenting them by silhouette, personal style and how the client intends to wear them?Creative direction becomes more flexible when the same visual language can serve different moments without losing its identity. When clients rewrite the occasion, the assortment should be ready to follow.#BridalJewelryStrategy #SelfPurchase #AssortmentPlanning #CreativeCommerce https://lnkd.in/dkPN_nPT

Revenue growth does not always mean demand is becoming broader.Recent U.S. jewelry data shows that specialty jewelry sales are still growing, but much of that growth is increasingly concentrated at higher price points while unit demand remains softer. From a product strategy perspective, I think this distinction matters. Strong revenue can look encouraging, but it is equally important to understand which price segments are driving it, where demand is weakening and how that should influence assortment and inventory decisions. For fine jewelry businesses, disciplined growth often starts with understanding not only how much customers are spending, but where that spending is actually moving.#FineJewelry #JewelryIndustry #ProductStrategy #LuxuryBusiness #Merchandising #BusinessStrategy https://lnkd.in/dwcQzwFg

Learning never stops in the jewelry world. This week our focus continues on pricing fundamentals and understanding the different types of basic chains—the foundation of so many great designs. From cost structures to construction, every detail matters when creating value and transparency for our clients. And in between the lessons, we took a moment to enjoy a little Turkish coffee—a reminder that learning is also about culture, connection, and appreciating the traditions behind our global industry. Step by step, we build knowledge that turns into expertise. #JewelryEducation #LearningJourney #Anomari #CreatingGlobalConnections #JewelryIndustry #ProductKnowledge #Mentorship #GlobalSourcing

Many brands focus on wallet appearance but overlook daily usage stress. Folding points, edge wear, and stitching tension determine how a wallet ages. Production experience plays a big role in predicting these long-term issues. Learn More: https://lnkd.in/gadJgkP7

Wholesale LGD prices are rising Signs of stabilization that emerged in the second quarter became more pronounced in Q3 2026. Lab-grown diamond wholesale prices increased across several key categories, suggesting that the market may be approaching a floor after years of steep price declines. The recovery is not broad-based, and year-over-year pricing remains significantly below prior levels. But if the recent gains are sustained, they could mark an inflection point in the lab-grown diamond wholesale price cycle. #DiamondData #LGDPrices https://lnkd.in/daSq3JeB Get the price list here: https://lnkd.in/dBdShzYi

A recent JCK report caught my attention. U.S. jewelry sales increased 5.7% in September, while average spending per item rose 11%, even as unit demand continued to weaken. With my background in fine jewelry design, collection development, and financial planning, I believe revenue growth alone doesn't always reflect the strength of a product strategy. Higher spending can improve sales performance, but it also raises important questions about pricing, customer demand, and how different collections contribute to profitability. I believe jewelry brands should focus on developing a balanced product portfolio, where distinctive designs, appropriate pricing, and production costs are considered together. The goal is not simply to sell more expensive jewelry, but to build collections that customers genuinely value while supporting sustainable business performance. https://lnkd.in/dHdPvjRZ #FineJewelry #JewelryBusiness #ProductStrategy #FinancialPlanning
