The customer feedback loop. The service recovery. The unique value proposition. The front-line execution. All of it matters. A pitch deck can sound incredible. But the customer experience is where the truth lives. If you say delivery takes two days and it takes eleven, the market notices. If you say every customer is asked for feedback and nobody asks, the customer notices. If you say the product is unique and the shelf says otherwise, the investor notices. That is leadership. Trust the plan. But verify the execution. Because the front line will always reveal what the boardroom believes. The smallest details can become the biggest credibility gaps. Dot the I’s. Cross the T’s. Know what your customers are experiencing before someone else tells you. If you want people to invest in your business, get close to the nuts and bolts. That is where trust is built. That is where excellence is proven. That is where the company becomes real. #Leadership #Execution #CustomerExperience

And it was handled immediately. In sales strategy and leadership, the same rule applies: boundaries set the tone. If you don’t define standards early, others will define them for you. Power isn’t declared. It’s demonstrated through consistency and non-negotiables. #SalesStrategy #Leadership #BusinessLessons #Negotiation #Boundaries #EntrepreneurMindset #ProfessionalStandards

To gain one thing, you must let go of another both are often equally important. Most of the time, we end up regretting what we sacrificed, even when the choice was necessary. Some people start thinking like entrepreneurs before they even turn 10. 🚀 The biggest business lesson? It’s not about age. It’s about solving problems, understanding value, and knowing how to sell the solution. That mindset changes everything. 💡 The future belongs to creators, thinkers, and builders who start early. #Entrepreneurship #BusinessMindset #StartupLife #LinkedInGrowth #Amardeep

As physicians and leaders, we embrace technology because it helps us diagnose faster, streamline workflows, and reduce administrative burden. Used well, AI is a powerful tool. But there are parts of leadership that should never be outsourced. Clinical judgment. Difficult conversations. Mentoring the next generation. Building trust with a patient. Helping a colleague navigate uncertainty. These are not inefficiencies to eliminate. They are the work. Leadership isn't measured by how little you do yourself. It's measured by whether you remain fully present for the moments that matter most. The same is true beyond medicine. If every email is written for us... Every decision is suggested... Every thought is summarized... We risk becoming passive participants in our own professional growth. Technology should amplify our capabilities, not replace our curiosity, discernment, or humanity. The future won't belong to leaders who resist AI. It will belong to leaders who know exactly where to use it and where human judgment remains irreplaceable. HEY TEXAS! TAB Delays Preventing Your Closeout? Palmetto Air and Water Balance Can Help! Here’s 5 Steps to Protect Your Timeline and Cash Flow You’ve made it through the punch list. The carpet’s in, the lights are on, and the owner’s already asking when they can move in. But there’s one thing standing between you and final payment: the Test and Balance (TAB) report. And it’s late. Too busy to read the whole thing? Here’s what matters: 1) Avoiding TAB delays can save you from liquidated damages of $5,000 to $25,000 per day—protecting your margins, your schedule, and your reputation. 2) Most TAB firms don’t have the tech or team to meet end-of-project surges. 3) Pre-construction coordination avoids major headaches at the finish line. 4) Palmetto can deliver reports in as fast as 24 hours with AirOne and the largest certified team in the industry. 5) Late TAB = late CO = late pay. It’s that simple Welcome to the frustrating, expensive reality of project delays caused by slow TAB reporting. For mechanical contractors, GCs, and project managers working on deadline-driven builds—especially in healthcare, data centers, pharma, higher ed, or commercial office space—this is more than an inconvenience. It’s a six-figure headache. A Day Late, $25,000 Short Let’s say you’re working on a new outpatient surgical center. The owner needs the building operational to start bringing in revenue. Every day past your contracted turnover date could mean thousands in lost income—and that often trickles back down to you. If your TAB provider needs two weeks to deliver the final report, you’re looking at more than just frustration. You’re looking at: $10K–$30K/day in owner revenue loss Delayed CO and lease commencements Here’s Why It Happens 1) TAB Reports Take Too Long Most providers still build reports manually. The techs handwrite measurements, then someone back at the office inputs them into Excel. Best case? You’ll get it in a week. Worst case? You’re chasing them two Fridays later. That timeline doesn’t work when AHJ or commissioning agent is already on-site. 2) Not Enough Manpower Small firms can’t flex up. When project timelines compress (and they always do), you’re competing with other projects for the same limited crew. 3) Coordination Breakdown If your TAB partner isn’t involved until final testing, you’re already behind. Without early design and install reviews, costly mistakes go unnoticed until the end—leading to rework, delays, and failed inspections. Your TAB partner has to act like part of the build team, not just a test-and-go vendor. What You Can Do Differently Start Smart Push for pre-construction TAB reviews. Your Closeout Doesn’t Need to Be Chaos Contractors working in fast-paced, high-spec environments can’t afford a reporting delay. If you’re tired of asking, “Where’s our report?”—we should talk. Palmetto delivers clarity, speed, and precision when it matters most. Let’s make your next closeout smooth, not stressful. Contact Palmetto today!
