This initiative recognizes the legacy of our visionary co-founder Hasso Plattner and reflects his commitment to education and innovation, providing a lasting foundation to further push the boundaries of #InformationTechnology. The chair will enable new #AI courses and research projects, as well as foster industry collaboration while also supporting advanced computing infrastructure. The faculty member holding this chair will mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, helping prepare the next generation of leaders in AI across academia and industry. Our collaboration with IBM is enabling them to embed its AI delivery platform, IBM Consulting Advantage, directly into M365 Copilot experiences across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, giving thousands of consultants one-click access to IBM’s enterprise knowledge and agents without leaving their daily workflow.
