Avishai Ben Tovim reposted thisAvishai Ben Tovim reposted this🚀 Another incredible milestone at our 75th True Global Ventures Conference in Palo Alto! Yesterday, we welcomed 300+ investors, founders and innovators at Perkins Coie Palo Alto and through livestream across the US and Europe, closing the day with 50 investors, LPs, partners and founders at our Sand Hill VIP Dinner! A huge thank you to all who showed up, contributed to thought leadership and made this amongst our strongest gatherings yet. Key takeaways: 🔹 Liquidity & Capital Market Infrastructure As we celebrated the IPO of Securitize with Tal Elyashiv, tokenization has officially entered a new phase. The discussion with Tal, Yat Siu, Lars Holst CFA and David S. Rose reinforced that: • Tokenization is about more efficient capital market infrastructure on top of facilitating liquidity and improving access. • Stablecoins, RWAs and AI agents are converging into new financial rails as incumbents like Visa are participating to build. 🔹 AI for Life Sciences The discussion with Rajat Mishra Prezent confirmed what we are seeing: after Coding and Legal AI, Life Sciences is becoming one of the next major enterprise AI verticals. The biggest opportunity may not be just in drug discovery, but transforming commercial and medical value chain through AI-native businesses that combine software, AI and deep domain expertise. 🔹 Vertical AI Moats Daisy Cai B Capital, Nigel Duffy Cynch AI, Supreet Singh Manchanda Raiven Capital, Karan Chaudhry Sprouts.ai moderated by Beatrice Lion, explored what creates durable vertical AI companies. The consensus was clear: proprietary data alone is not enough. Winners will combine workflow integration, feedback loops, distribution and domain expertise to build AI systems in a continuous learning loop from customer usage. 🔹 AI for Financial Services Our discussion with Avishai Ben Tovim Obligo, Andy Tang Draper Associates, Travis Skelly Pruven Capital, Fan Wen Fin Capital highlighted how AI is transforming highly regulated industries. The next generation of AI companies will redesign entire business processes. From security deposits in property management to financial services, AI agents are increasingly taking ownership of complete workflows, enabling leaner, faster-scaling organizations to deliver a better customer experience. 🔹 Agentic AI for Enterprise Productivity From recruiting through referrals with Greg G. Cedar to end-to-end high fidelity game creation with Zlatko Stjepanović Stjepanovic Lussa, AI agents are moving beyond copilots toward orchestrating complete enterprise workflows. Our strong footprint in the Bay Area gives us privileged access to these founders, but our mission remains global: helping exceptional entrepreneurs scale internationally through one of the world's best-networked venture capital communities. A big thank you to all our founders, investors, speakers and partners who joined us! Till next time on October 5th and 6th! 🚀 #VentureCapital #BayArea #AgenticAI #VerticalAI

Avishai Ben Tovim reposted thisAvishai Ben Tovim reposted thisIntroducing Obligo’s Deposit Agent: AI-native operations intelligence, integrated directly into your PMS. At move-out, the agent recommends charge descriptions and documentation, what charges the lease supports, and what local law requires. Every decision is guided, documented, and defensible, automatically. For on-site teams: a co-pilot that eliminates the guesswork. For senior leadership: a control plane. Full portfolio visibility, BI on every decision, consistency enforced at every property without adding headcount. Avishai Ben Tovim shared thisOne of the biggest shifts happening in GTM right now: revenue growth is becoming less tied to team size. In this article, I explore how lean teams, AI, and operational focus are reshaping the way companies scale. Excited to share this perspective and proud of what our team at Obligo has been able to achieve through a lean, focused GTM approach.Avishai Ben Tovim shared thisMost companies still assume growth requires adding headcount, but the operating model is changing: We shared some of the data and lessons behind what we’re seeing in our latest blog written by VP of Revenue and Operations, Avishai Ben Tovim 👇 https://lnkd.in/dDwsrGaz #Obligo #PropTech #SaaS #AI #RevenueOperations #GTM #Multifamily #PropertyManagement #RealEstateTech

Avishai Ben Tovim posted this“Security deposits” aren’t actually about security anymore. They’re about legacy infrastructure. The industry still treats deposits like a core risk management tool. But in reality, they’re a workaround from a time when we couldn’t properly assess or price renter risk. So we asked for cash. A lot has changed since then. Today, we can: - Underwrite renter risk in real time - Align coverage to actual exposure - Decouple protection from upfront liquidity Which raises a bigger question: Why are we still anchoring risk management to a resident’s ability to produce cash on day one? That’s not a risk model. It’s a constraint. What’s emerging now, led by platforms like Obligo is a different category entirely: Security without deposits. Not a leasing concession. A fundamentally better system where: - Operators get stronger, more scalable coverage - Residents keep their liquidity - Leasing friction drops materially - Operations lose an entire layer of complexity This is what category change looks like: When the old system doesn’t get optimized - it gets replaced. The operators leaning into this aren’t just improving conversion. They’re redefining how risk is managed across their portfolios. The question isn’t whether deposits will evolve. It’s whether they’ll still exist in their current form five years from now. #PropertyManagement #Multifamily #PropTech #LeasingStrategy #NOI #RealEstateOperations #ResidentExperience #Fintech #Obligo

Avishai Ben Tovim liked thisAvishai Ben Tovim liked thisA few days ago, a senior leader shared a hiring dilemma with me. It got me thinking about something I've always believed in: the potential people carry within them. Throughout my career, I've hired people who didn't necessarily have the experience or check all the boxes. Sometimes, there were other candidates who looked much better on paper. But I saw something in them. The passion. The drive. The determination to learn, work hard, and succeed. And I saw something beyond the role they were interviewing for. I knew where we wanted to take the company, how the organization could evolve, and how these individuals could grow along with it. I could imagine the responsibilities they might take on, the challenges they could handle, and the leaders they could become. Not everyone shared my confidence. There were times I had to advocate for them, explain what I saw, and stand behind my decision. And I'm so glad I did. Today, some of those people are senior leaders, managing teams, taking on exciting challenges, and building incredible careers. And if any of you are reading this, I hope you know just how proud you should be of yourselves. You took the opportunity, worked hard, kept learning, and turned your potential into something real. I may have recognized that potential early on, but you're the ones who made it happen. A resume tells us where someone has been. It doesn't always tell us how far they can go, Because hiring isn't just about finding the right person for the job today. Its also about recognizing who they can become tomorrow. Someone can recognize your potential, believe in you, and open the door... But what you choose to do with that opportunity is entirely up to you.

The taps kept running because our national grid rerouted supply from wells and reservoirs in real time. That week proved something I keep telling partners abroad: even the best water technology becomes a weak spot when it stands alone. Resilience comes from how the sources connect to each other. I wrote about this in The Jerusalem Post, along with why water might be the most practical basis for cooperation in our region. 🔗 Link to the full article- https://lnkd.in/dP44zQab MDE - Mekorot Development and Enterprise; The Jerusalem PostThe climate crisis, national resilience, and the unifying power of water | The Jerusalem PostThe climate crisis, national resilience, and the unifying power of water | The Jerusalem Post

Avishai Ben Tovim liked thisAvishai Ben Tovim liked thisThis morning Oshi is in 243 locations across the US. Tomorrow morning we will be in 366. One retailer, 123 Hy-Vee, Inc. stores, going live on the same day. A 51% increase in our footprint overnight. By tomorrow, a third of everywhere Oshi exists will be places that did not have us yesterday. That is not a normal jump, and it is not a normal amount of work. I spent years in software before this. If a customer bought a license for 10 users or for 10,000, delivery took exactly the same amount of time. Occasionally you would scale something in the cloud to be safe. Usually you did not even do that. Food does not work like that. When the Hy-Vee order came in, you would not have wanted to trade places with our shift manager at the plant in California. In a single day he learned he had to roughly double his headcount within a week. Our suppliers had to deliver raw materials with a normal lead time of three months in about four weeks, which meant flying them in instead of shipping them. The whole company went into a spin. Not a strategic spin. A supply spin. The unglamorous kind that happens in spreadsheets, on calls at 2am, and on a production floor. And the order shipped on time. This is the part of retail nobody photographs. A buyer says yes, everyone celebrates, and then somebody has to make tens of thousands of fillets appear in the right place on the right day, with no room at all to be late. So all I really have to say today is thank you to the Oshi team, who once again did something that should not have been possible in the time we had. I get to write the posts. They made the shelf happen.

It's been quite amazing to see Shaurya Gupta, Chandan Yadav, Divyansh Ameta and team Wishlink create an entirely new category of creator commerce in India. They're building the rails that help brands grow through social platforms like Instagram, while giving creators a convenient way to monetize their audiences. Historically only large brands had access to creators and only large creators had the ability to monetize well. Wishlink is democratising this in a purely performance driven manner, which makes it win-win. Fortunate to be part of this journey since the seed round and really excited to triple down in this round. Welcome aboard Ben Mathias Nikhil Marwaha! Some of the most useful conversations in our industry happen between people solving the same problem at the same time, not presenting at each other, but working through it together. That is why I return to the AVCA Sustainable Investing in Africa Summit. The value is not only in the insight. It is in the co-creation. This year’s theme — Built to Last: The New Global Reality — landed correctly. Across nearly two decades of Alitheia Capital’s work, I have seen that what endures in African private capital is rarely built alone. It is built through shared knowledge, patient conviction, and partnerships that outlast a single fund cycle. My thanks to AVCA - The African Private Capital Association for convening practitioners with such care, and for a conversation worth continuing. #AlitheiaCapital #AVCASummit2026 #PrivateEquity #Africa

Welcome to Signals by Siana Capital for the week of 17th November 2025 Everything our team reads, learns, and debates, to share as signals from the outside world 1. 20VC chat with Everett Randle, Partner at Benchmark https://lnkd.in/dhHF7u5h AI companies can generate far higher gross-profit dollars per customer and tap labour-budget TAM rather than software budgets, which is why AI categories are now adding $4-5bn in new ARR per year versus the $1bn SaaS golden-category benchmark. This TAM expansion is breaking old metrics, accelerating category formation, and concentrating value in a handful of winners. As a result, multi-stage megafunds may never return 5x+ net again, but they will produce enormous absolute dollars by anchoring themselves to these outsized, AI-driven category explosions 2. China’s falling CO2 emmissions https://lnkd.in/dKd-qybS China’s CO2 emissions have been flat or falling for the past 18 months, which is the strongest signal yet that its energy transition has crossed a structural inflection point. This stability is happening despite rising electricity demand, because China is adding renewables, storage, and transmission capacity at unprecedented speed. When emissions plateau while infrastructure accelerates, the bottleneck shifts from physical build-out to system intelligence. That’s a signal that AI in forecasting, grid balancing, asset optimisation, and distributed-energy orchestration will become a multi-billion-dollar golden category 3. AI cyber espionage https://lnkd.in/dbMd5U9J A Chinese group used a jailbroken frontier model to autonomously run an end to end cyber espionage operation, handling 80-90% of the workload with only minimal human oversight. The attack moved at machine speed, executing thousands of actions per second, and targeted major tech, financial, industrial, and government systems. This is the first signal that agentic AI is fully capable of performing the work of entire APT teams, collapsing the cost, talent, and time barriers that historically protected nations and enterprises. Cyber offense has been automated, and every institution now operates in a world where scalable, state level attacks can be launched by anyone with access to a frontier model Follow Siana Capital for more weekly Signals from India’s deeptech and frontier infrastructure ecosystem
