Albert Briggs posted thisTo all my industry folks who have encountered an absolutely brutal last 6 months...layoffs, company closures, bankruptcies, declining revenues, tanking evaluations, supply chain woes, pulled offers and many more...remember that this too shall pass. I've been around the block in this biz enough to know that there is no such thing as job or brand security. This industry is CHANGING and change is the only constant. Keep investing in yourself, learn more skills than you think you'll need, and recognize that you are valuable. I've had a few folks reach out over the last few weeks to assist with connections, referrals, or recommendations and know that my door (inbox) is always open.

Albert Briggs shared thisI saw this article circulating last week and felt like it's worth diving into to really understand what it means. The Headline: TikTok has lower CPMs than the other high profile social and entertainment platforms in the digital space. The Value: A $10k buy on TikTok will reach roughly 62% more people than Snapchat, 57% more people than Facebook, and about 40% more people than Instagram Reels...all on a platform that has a drastically unique audience makeup and significantly more time spent than those three mentioned competitors. The Logic: Lower spend + larger reach = greater awareness of your product with less financial strain during tough economic times 🧠 Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself. https://lnkd.in/gB9GJxeMTikTok’s lower CPMs are one of many reasons it is taking market share from the duopolyTikTok’s lower CPMs are one of many reasons it is taking market share from the duopoly

Albert Briggs shared thisIt's once again that time of the year where I list my Top 5 favorite audiobook reads (listens) from the year prior. In 2022 I listened to 53 books ranging from The Qur'an to The Autobiography of Gucci Mane. I don't recommend the later of these two. 🤣 I've included a few notes on each title if you click/tap on the picture of the book and if you're so compelled, you call see my top 10 on my TikTok here ---> https://lnkd.in/gZQcry6f <--- Also, I'm pretty sure Audible still does a free listen if I share the book with you so if one of these sounds interesting, DM me for my gift link and I'll hook you up. 5. Albert Briggs shared thisI’m coming out of LinkedIn post retirement to give a quick shoutout to my guy Perez Shaw . Many moons ago I actually hired Perez but due to the pandemic we never actually met in real life. Working virtually and across state lines I eventually left that company to work at TikTok. In an effort to prove how small this industry really is and how important it is to stay connected with the real ones, Perez hits me up out of the blue a few months back to tell me he’s starting at TikTok AND he’s moving to Austin. I’m excited to put a dent in this industry working alongside you in ATX, brother. Let’s get it!

Albert Briggs posted this"At your highest moment, be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you." - Denzel Washington Wise words from a wise man at the Oscars last night. Funny story but Denzel once told me, "Try not to look stupid" before I took a half court shot trying to win money at an LA Lakers game several years ago. I proceeded to airball my attempt and looked over at the Lakers bench to see them all laughing. It's best to listen to Denzel if you can. #wisdom #oscars

It was an amazing run, starting back at Mobcrush in 2018 with Michael Wann and Nina Kammer 🔜 Dallas at the helm. Drake was streaming with Ninja and Twitch was just getting on everyone's radar. We were lucky to ride that wave, partnering with world class brands to build the business to the point where Super League acquired us in 2021. Under Matt Edelman and Ann Hand's leadership, Super League became a go to partner for forward thinking brands that wanted to reach Gen Z and Alpha where they spend most of their time: gaming. We collaborated with blockbuster movies, new car model launches, special menu item drops in QSR and much more to bring some award-winning campaigns to life. A big THANK YOU to all the clients, coworkers and partners who helped make this happen and I learned so much from! I am excited to share that I am staying in the Roblox space and starting this week at Voldex as their West Coast Brand Partnerships Lead. Our portfolio includes Brookhaven, the most played Roblox game of all-time, Driving Empire, the #1 driving game on the platform and NFL Universe, the official NFL game on Roblox. If your brand is interested in integrating into these premium Roblox experiences, let's chat! Thank you to Alex S. and Harry Bienenstock for this opportunity. I will see you out there and let's go!

Looking back, what a wild ride it was...from day 1 in Shanghai to day 2,000+(!) in Austin. When I started, TikTok was the new kid on the block. I'll never forget the excitement the team felt when we first took TikTok Ads to market in the US. A few years later, I got to experience that feeling all over again on the TikTok Shop product team, joining the ride as it took off in the US. To everyone I’ve had the chance to work with over the last six years, don’t be a stranger. And if we haven’t crossed paths yet but you ever want to talk TikTok, TikTok Shop, or just compare notes, my DMs are always open! #TikTok #CareerJourney #NextChapter #ProductMarketing #Tech

Nielsen and Roku's deeper data marriage fixes CTV's biggest challenge: proving who saw your ad, and what they did next. CTV’s biggest problem was never reach.....it was trust. Advertisers didn’t doubt the screens....they doubted the outcomes. Did anyone actually watch? Was it incremental? Did it move a real business metric? What this partnership signals is a shift: From estimated exposure to observed behavior. From fragmented reporting to a clearer line between audience → ad → outcome. Three things this unlocks: • Better audience definition CTV buyers can move beyond proxies and model real households, not assumptions. • Stronger outcome measurement Attribution starts to look less like guesswork and more like evidence. • CTV becoming a performance channel Not just “premium video, but something CFOs can actually defend. CTV isn’t fighting for brand budgets anymore. It’s fighting for performance credibility. And partnerships like this are how it wins. The winners won't be the ones with the most data points, but the ones who can best connect their ad spend to real business growth. Stop measuring noise. Start measuring what moves the needle. #CTV #Measurment #Adtech Victoria McNally | AdExchanger Sarah (Warner) Harms | Roku Ameneh Atai | Nielsen

RMN Update - RedVest Media announced a few new features that made me sit up and pay attention - Audiences - they're offering contextually based audience splits that can not only pull out Pros from DIY'ers but they are now enabling Brands to target those who are Maintaining/Restoring homes as well - SMART! This is a different track of DIY'ers that have a built in need that Brands would have no line of sight to otherwise. Partnerships - they also announced a Doordash partnership which might sound odd on it's surface, one RMN partnering with another and all. But the logic is sound given the fact that '91% of Doordash shoppers of Ace Hardware products never set foot inside the stores.' (source Modern Retail) This automatically creates better connections to consumers and pull through than ever before. Weather - albeit something that is available on other media partners in the programmatic space, this helps give brands even more control at the point of bidding which helps drive more event based activations. Bottom Line - RedVest Media is raising the bar for features and integrations in ways that other competitors aren't yet exploring. My advice to Brands would be to test their way into these capabilities and find options to increase the effectiveness of their RMN investments. To the other RMNs reacting to this news... I would take notice... Remembering the whole point of Retail Media isn't just to create data monopolies where Brands have to pay high margins just to gain access to information. The goal for all of us is to grow our connections with consumers, that will then grow affinities for both parties which will translate to Lifetime Value & Sales... Shareholders will always reward those goals and I'm sure Ace will be seeing some of those rewards in the coming quarters. #RMN #RetailMedia #DataMonetization #CommerceIntegrations https://lnkd.in/gughD3Xz

When you run media for a multi‑location brand, “just scale it” is never that simple. How you talk to someone in rural Texas isn’t how you talk to someone in San Francisco. Even within one demographic, the language, imagery, and offers often need to shift based on multiple factors. That’s where I’m most excited about AI over the next few years. A few examples of what I expect to be normal, not novel: ☑️ Generating image and copy variants tailored to specific locations. ☑️ Adjusting tone and language by region - without a human rewriting every line. ☑️ Managing that complexity at scale instead of one manual change at a time. We’re already seeing AI help with this inside the tools and platforms we use every day. And we know there are going to be new agentic AI solutions coming that let us plug in and do more than is realistic by hand. When we’re talking internally about using AI in smart ways for clients, we’re asking questions like, “Where could AI help us respect local nuance and scale faster?” And to counter that, “What guardrails do we need so we don’t lose the plot?” Both parts matter. How can we use AI to do more AND how can we use it to do better. What have you started handing off successfully to AI – creative, audience research, media planning, reporting, or something else?

This is a big moment for Index Exchange, Index Cloud, and what’s possible for buyers in programmatic. PMG is now activating Alli Buyer Cloud directly within Index Cloud through Bedrock Platform's containerized DSP, enabling real-time, agentic optimization of premium TV supply. By operating at the supply edge, PMG can apply its own buying intelligence at exchange scale, with fewer intermediary steps and greater transparency into how decisions are made. That’s a meaningful shift in how buyers can operate across the open internet. Check out the press release for more on the announcement: https://bit.ly/3TnW151 #IndexCloud #AgenticAI #ProgrammaticAdvertising #StreamingTV

People watch video as just that: video. 📺 Not linear. Not CTV. Not digital. Just video. Advertising needs to STOP 🛑 talking gaps between linear & streaming or walled gardens & open internet or brand & performance and START 🟢 talking about the gap between what dashboards 'say' is working & what consumers 'feel' is working. Unified technology like Cadent Platform (https://lnkd.in/ecDurVfB) and unified solutions like Cadent's Total Video (linear + CTV + YouTube) address the industry fragmentation and consumer frustration. [Tip: "unified" is very different vs "integrated" and "connected"]. Read more in AdExchanger. https://lnkd.in/eevUcqUf

Excited to share that Aperiam has invested in Bedrock Platform. Obvious statement of the century: programmatic advertising has a complexity problem. The infrastructure that was built to give media buyers control has, over time, done the opposite. Burying teams under layers of operational overhead, legacy tooling, and opaque supply chains. Bedrock is built on a simple but powerful thesis: what if you stripped away the bloat and rebuilt the stack around what actually matters... precision, transparency, and speed to execution. Their platform combines AI-driven campaign automation with curated, premium inventory across video, CTV, DOOH, and audio, and aims to be flexible and get smarter over time. Plus, the team (Shane, Austin, Ryan, James) has deep roots in the infrastructure layer of ad tech and understands the plumbing better than almost anyone. We believe the next generation of programmatic will be leaner, faster and AI-first. Bedrock is building that.
