🛒 Each year in our season of giving, Zippo employees band together to collect cash donations and food items to give to others in need. This year, a creative twist was added to this local outreach effort, thanks to an idea borrowed by Donna, an employee and member of our Service League, which is managed by The Blaisdell Foundation. Donna saw some that some employees from our local medical center had decorated some shopping carts from nearby grocers to help encourage donations to feed those less fortunate locally, and she suggested Zippo do something similar this year. So we did. Our local TOPS Friendly Markets, Save A Lot and Walmart stores gave us a few carts, and we added in few pizza parties as prizes to 3 of the 13 participating departments with the most impressive cart decor. Not only did the creativity we saw in the finished carts surpass all expectations, but so did the donations of cash and food items that flooded in to "fill" the carts. In all, nearly $600 in cash and 3,000 food packages were collected and passed on to our local food banks. Our employees are some of the most dependable people, not just on the job but in so many other ways. Today, we're taking this time to thank each and every one of them for their outpouring of generosity and enthusiasm for our time honored traditions. WR Case Cutlery Company and Zippo have found a unique way to honor and celebrate our nation's finest, and we're inviting you to be a part of it.

Last weekend Zippo hosted its annual service awards banquet to honor employees who have reached career milestones in 2025. Among those in attendance was Barb Reid, whose exemplary career with Zippo recently crossed the 60-year mark, setting a new all-time company service record. Barb worked in the plating department for her first 20 years at Zippo before moving into her current role as maintenance clerk. Her impeccable service record, which includes her last 17 years with perfect attendance, has inspired countless other Zippo associates, including close members of Barb’s own family. Two of her daughters have been employed at the company for a combined 45 years and a son retired from the company after 35 years of service. These family bonds have been formed by a common Reid family work ethic, which is now reflected in second and third-generation relatives. Barb’s niece has been working for Zippo for 31 years and counting, and a granddaughter recently celebrated her very first anniversary with the company. Collectively, Barb and her family members have logged 172 years of service to Zippo. Barb prides herself in her work just as much as she values her work life. When asked what she likes best about her job Barb simply says, "I like seeing and talking with my friends I work with." To Barb, we're all one big family.
