Can old vinyl be given a second life? We put it to the test! For decades, unsold records have been difficult to reintegrate into production. In a joint project with GZ Media, and in partnership with Abbey Road Studios, we pressed several record variants with various levels of recycled content and blind-tested their audio quality. Our results found recovered material can be incorporated into new pressings without compromising sound. Swipe to learn more & read the findings in our report on: gzmedia.cz/gzwmg/

A huge congratulations to Guy Moot, Co-Chair and CEO, WCM, on becoming the very first music publisher to receive the Music Industry Trusts Award (MITS) 🏆 With a career spanning over 30 years, Guy is being recognized for his creative vision and immense global impact on the music publishing world, defined by creative vision, a “songwriter-first” philosophy, and a lifelong commitment to music’s power to educate, heal, and transform lives. Guy Moot says: "To be the first publisher to receive the MITS Award is a real honour, and one that I hope serves as a celebration of songwriters and the extraordinary value of their music. I’ve spent my whole life championing creators and finding the next generation of talent who deserve a pathway in. The BRIT Trust has a proven track record of building careers and opening doors for young people who might never otherwise get the chance. And Nordoff & Robbins reminds us why music matters in the first place — its profound ability to reach people in a way that nothing else can. I'm proud to support both, and humbled to receive this recognition." The ceremony will take place on November 9, 2026 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, raising funds for two UK music charities: The BRIT Trust, a core funder of The BRIT School, and Nordoff and Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy charity. Congratulations, Guy, on this incredibly well-deserved honor. 🔗 Read more: https://lnkd.in/gt5vYK7p #WarnerChappellMusic #MITSAward #GuyMoot #NordoffRobbins #TheBRITTrust
