Meet our February San Diego County CASA of the Month: https://bit.ly/4bUGVei Since stepping into her role last year, CASA Lindsey has provided consistent and stable advocacy for a 17-year-old youth navigating complex challenges in foster care. After identifying unmet medical needs, she ensured the youth attended a critical appointment that revealed serious health concerns requiring immediate hospitalization. CASA Lindsey remained present throughout the hospitalization and every subsequent Child and Family Team meeting, helping guide key decisions including a placement transition for the benefit of the youth. Now she is the youth’s first call. CASA Lindsey’s commitment reflects the impact of dedicated, informed advocacy.

Transforming the lives of abused and neglected children
About us
Voices for Children transforms the lives of abused, neglected, or abandoned children in San Diego and Riverside Counties by providing them with trained, volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). We believe that every child deserves a safe and permanent home, and to that end, will review and monitor every court file in the system, provide a CASA to every child in the foster care system who needs one, and advocate to improve the lives of San Diego County’s foster children.

🎨 Read about our Riverside County CASA of the Month here: https://bit.ly/49PkPXK When CASA Jessica was matched with Jack*, he was quiet and hesitant to open up. After discovering his love for drawing, art became their shared language. Through museum visits and sketching together, Jack found a healthy way to express his emotions, leading to growing confidence and fewer challenges at school. With consistency, creativity, and care, CASA Jessica helps Jack feel seen, supported, and empowered. *Names and identifying details have been changed to protect confidentiality
