Last week we held our first Velocity Hackathon: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐬⚔️🤖
4 teams. 24 hours. One winner 💪
The rules: build a product that creates real value for the Velocity monetization and distribution platform.
The number one requirement: take it all the way to live production. Not slides. Not prototypes. Build it, integrate it into the Velocity platform, and demo it live in production.
After 24 hours of brainstorming, building, testing, breaking things, fixing things, testing in production, and eating a lot of pizza, all four teams presented working products running live inside the Velocity platform.
All four teams built incredible products with the potential to create massive impact for Velocity and real value for our clients. Even better, all four products will make it to general availability on the Velocity platform over the next few weeks.
The winner was Team 4: Deci 🥇
Deci is an AI buy-mode agent that sits on top of AI conversations. When it recognizes that a user has high intent to buy something, it opens a second AI conversation dedicated to that specific intent. Think of it as an agent within an agent. Instead of simply showing an ad, Deci starts a conversation with the user around that buying opportunity, creating a much more relevant experience while improving monetization.
Huge thanks to our judges, Gilad Almog and Elad Kushnir, for joining us, asking the hard questions, and helping us choose a winner.
This was my first hackathon in the AI era, and it was honestly mind-blowing. In just 24 hours, the teams built products that would have taken weeks, or even months, just a couple of years ago.
Until Agent Wars 2027. 🚀
