Many businesses overpay for capacity. Are you one of them? If your kVA is set too high, you pay for unused supply. If it is set too low, you face costly excess capacity fees. Our updated kVA guide explains what kVA is, why it matters, and how a simple review can align your capacity with your actual operations. Perfect for businesses that have upgraded equipment, adjusted processes, or taken on new premises. Read the Utility Bidder guide and see if a free kVA review can reduce your electricity spend: https://lnkd.in/eNbFD7HT Aakash Shah Mark Gamble Mo Lambat

UK manufacturers are preparing for one of the most significant energy policy changes in years. The proposed British Industrial Competitiveness Scheme could reduce electricity costs for energy intensive businesses from 2027. Around 7,000 manufacturing businesses may benefit, and some could see material reductions in their electricity bills once the scheme is fully implemented. Although BICS is still at consultation stage, organisations in eligible sectors are already mapping their activity, reviewing electricity intensity and gathering evidence so they are ready when applications open. If your business relies on high electricity use or produces critical materials for the UK supply chain, this is something you should not overlook. We have broken down what the scheme proposes, who it is likely to apply to, and the steps manufacturers can start taking now to prepare. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eSwavZ3H

Wholesale energy prices have moved sharply again, and this time the impact for businesses may be immediate. Energy is now at its highest price since October 2025. Electricity is up 12% since the December lows, and gas has risen by 6% since last week. These are the fastest increases we have seen in six months. Taken together, the market is becoming less comfortable, and prices are climbing quickly as a result. For any business still holding off on energy decisions, the December pricing lows are already out of reach, and further rises remain a real possibility. If your organisation has quotes out or contracts due for renewal, reviewing them now could prevent further cost increases. Want support reviewing your options or understanding the latest movements?
