MG Turinetti, CSM High, and CW5 Banks conducted key engagements with the leadership and Soldiers of the 11th Airborne Division, U.S. Army, Arctic Aviation Command, America's First Corps (I Corps), and 7th Infantry Division to see firsthand the challenges and innovations happening on the ground, and how CECOM can best support the mission. By empowering Soldiers with the "Right to Repair" through powerful tools like AIAM, integrating our Logistics Assistance Representatives (LARs) for NGC2 equipment, and driving innovation in manufacturing and logistics, we are committed to ensuring our troops have the assets they need for long-term success. Congratulations to the Army $pends Team on being named the C5ISR Team of the 4th Quarter, Fiscal Year 2025. This award honors their innovative contributions, including developing three AI-powered fraud-detection dashboards. These tools proactively identify fraudulent activities in travel vouchers, procurement, and government purchase cards, safeguarding taxpayer dollars. CECOM Integrated Logistics Support Center continued to showcase its new Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Maintenance tool when members of the AIAM development team demonstrated it at the Department of War Maintenance Symposium in Phoenix, AZ. Recent advances such as AIAM’s integration into the Army’s Vantage data platform have kept the ILSC at the cutting edge of Army transformation, as AIAM is poised to enable even faster and more efficient troubleshooting for Soldiers and civilians in the near future. The nation has once again turned to the dynamic civilian workforce of Tobyhanna Army Depot to provide readiness to our warfighters quickly, affordably, and precisely. In 2024, CECOM identified both cost and time deficiencies in the cable assembly for the Electric Power Plant III - a power generator for the MIM-104 Patriot air defense system. AMLC is pleased to share a significant development in Army logistics and medical system support. On October 1, 2025, the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (U.S. Army CECOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) officially established the new Medical Systems Directorate. This strategic realignment integrates the former AMLC ILSC into CECOM, creating a powerful synergy between the C5ISR and medical technology sectors. By leveraging shared dependencies on commercial industry partners and rapid innovation cycles, this integration is set to accelerate modernization, improve supply chain efficiency, and ultimately enhance medical readiness for the Joint Force. This move underscores the Army's commitment to organizational efficiency and capability enhancement. Maj. Gen. James Turinetti and Command Sgt. Maj. Jay High recently visited the Medical Maintenance Operations Division-CA in Tracy, California. During the visit, the team toured critical areas of the facility to observe operations firsthand. This work is vital to CECOM’s overall mission of delivering integrated sustainment to the warfighter. By providing specialized depot-level maintenance, MMOD-CA ensures the reliability of the Army’s most complex medical devices, directly supporting patient safety and preserving a decisive battlefield advantage.
