Starting with renewals around July 1, 2026, the annual membership fee is increasing from $209 to $219—the latest in a string of yearly price hikes. 💳 The good news: Many premium travel credit cards still offer statement credits that can offset some or all of the cost. Walt Disney World Resort Deluxe hotels with Chase points just got a lot more interesting thanks to a 55% Marriott Bonvoy transfer bonus running through June 30th. The Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve are all Marriott Bonvoy properties inside the Disney bubble. Rooms start at 36,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night, but with the transfer bonus that drops to just 24,000 Chase points per night. These are Deluxe hotels which means you get free transportation to the parks, Early Theme Park Entry, priority Lightning Lane bookings, and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at select parks. That last one is the real hidden gem. Hawaii with 100,000 Chase points is more doable than most people realize, and the numbers are kind of ridiculous if you’re on the West Coast. 🌴 Southwest is a Chase transfer partner, which means your Ultimate Rewards points become Southwest points at a 1:1 ratio. Katie found roundtrip flights from LA to Honolulu for 10,000 points per person. From the Midwest, round trip to Hawaii runs around 31,000 points. For hotels, the Hyatt Place Waikiki was available for 15,000 Hyatt points per night. Book two nights on points, use the $100 Chase Travel hotel credit for a third night, and you’re looking at about $150 out of pocket for that third night. Two people flying from LA, two nights at the Hyatt Place Waikiki, and you’ve still got points left over from that 100k bonus.
