    Road safety is a shared responsibility. As motorcycle mobility continues to grow, partnerships are essential to help build safer roads. In Argentina, we partnered with the Automóvil Club Argentino and Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Región IV - Latinoamérica for a new edition of the Road Safety Workshop. During the event, FIA Region IV shared insights from its latest road safety study, reinforcing the importance of evidence-based action, while ACA led hands-on and theoretical safety sessions. We also introduced two new safety features for Uber Moto—Driving Insights Dashboard and Dangerous Driving Notifications—designed to help drivers make safer decisions on every trip.     Cannes 2026: creative swagger is back baby! In 2025 the fear of human (or at least creative marketer) obsolescence was palpable. In 2026 there is reinvigorated confidence in human creativity, imagination, and courage to move human audiences, change behaviours, create new categories, generate future demand and drive extraordinary growth. When forces push you for ever more Efficiency, remember that your business will not grow long term unless you prioritise Effectiveness. Creative effectiveness was the topic of my Palais keynote and I was utterly honoured to hear David Tiltman, Cannes Lions head curator, give my talk a shout out in the Friday wrap. ���If I can recommend people to go and watch one session, it is the session with Uber … it’s absolutely killer”. It is creative effectiveness that has driven the extraordinary success of Uber campaigns like those that won Cannes Lions this year.     Every time I get into an Uber or speak with our driver-partners across India and wider South Asia, the conversation inevitably turns to family. Behind the steering wheel, there is almost always a father with a quiet, fierce determination. They tell me about their daughter’s dream of becoming a doctor, their son’s upcoming school exams, or the sacrifices they are making today so their children can have a better tomorrow. Being a commercial driver is not an easy job. It requires immense mental focus, physical endurance, and navigating stressful traffic day after day. Yet, our drivers step into their cars, autos or bikes every morning with unmatched tenacity, fueled by love and care for their families. This Father’s Day, this montage represents more than just a greeting—it is a tribute to the 2 million+ driver-partners across India & South Asia who each month drive to power their children's dreams and move their families forward.
