  • Identity and business risk get more complex as companies expand across markets. The data sources, risk signals, and local requirements involved can all change. Through our new collaboration with Fiserv, Trulioo will help Fiserv clients access a broader range of identity and business risk signals across global markets. Bringing those data and signals together can support a more complete view of risk and better-informed decisions at onboarding and throughout the customer lifecycle. Read Vicky Bindra’s perspective and learn more ⬇️

    Expanding into a new market means navigating new risks, regulations and customer expectations, without adding unnecessary complexity. Today, Trulioo announced a collaboration with Fiserv to help their clients access a broader range of identity and business risk signals across global markets. By bringing together data and signals from multiple sources, we can help organizations build a more complete view of risk, supporting better-informed decisions at onboarding and throughout the customer lifecycle. For businesses operating across markets, that means greater consistency in how risk is assessed and managed, while still adapting to local requirements as they grow. I'm proud of our teams and the work that went into bringing this collaboration together. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gHydYDnD;

  • We spend a lot of time thinking about where identity, risk, and fraud are heading — and what those shifts will mean for our customers. Chad Gerhardstein spoke with Liminal about how market intelligence helps us make better-informed decisions. Thanks to the Liminal team for their partnership and sharing our story!

  • AI-generated websites, documents, images, and identities can create a convincing footprint for a business that never existed. At ACAMS The Assembly Las Vegas, Chad Gerhardstein will moderate 'The Business That Never Existed: KYB in the Age of AI' with Yuliya Kazakevich of Lithic and Jas Randhawa of StrategyBRIX. They’ll examine how synthetic business schemes are assembled and where institutions are seeing them emerge, and focus on the evidence banks, lenders, and marketplaces need before they can trust that a company — and the people behind it — are real. Join us at the session and visit the Trulioo team at booth 321. We'll see you in Vegas! 🎰

    Marketplaces already have to establish trust across multiple parties in a complex, distributed global economy — with increasing opacity. Enter in AI agents, synthetic identity, and the speed of automated transactions, and the challenge of reaching true identity only compounds. I’ll be moderating a conversation about this at Marketplace Risk with Chris Horne of Upwork, Radhika Mehra of Expedia Group, and Thomas Messina of Meta, diving into what it takes to verify trust as agent-driven interactions rapidly increase. If you’ll be in New York, I hope you’ll join us!

  • Who’s actually behind a seller, contractor, account — or AI agent? At Marketplace Risk New York, Chad Gerhardstein will moderate a conversation with leaders from Meta, Upwork, and Expedia about how platforms can keep pace with changing identity risks, exploring: • Why distributed work is making one-time verification obsolete • What it takes to move toward continuous trust without creating unnecessary friction • How platforms can prepare to verify AI agents acting on people’s behalf 📅 September 15 at 11:30 a.m. ET 📍 Marketplace Risk New York We hope to see you there!

    Agentic commerce is moving quickly, but the trust model behind it still has some catching up to do. On Flywheelr’s CXO Spotlight, Vicky Bindra joins Chirag Khanijau to explore some of the big questions businesses need to answer: · Who is responsible when an AI agent makes a transaction? · How do you verify the agent and the person or business behind it? · How can companies test this technology without taking on unnecessary risk? ▶️ Watch the full episode: https://lnkd.in/gFguS-MA

    What does in-house identity verification cost? In a survey of 350 companies, internal teams spent an average of $26 per KYC review and $51 per KYB review. Those using external providers spent $11 and $20, respectively. But cost was only part of the picture. Among those detecting threats, 78% of those using internal teams reported losses, compared with 44% of those relying on external providers. Each ownership model brings different implications for fraud exposure, customer friction, operating cost, and market growth. The data can help leaders decide which tradeoffs fit their business.
