  • Student safety and human oversight guide how we approach AI at TimelyCare, and we're proud to have that commitment recognized through URAC accreditation. Today, we had the opportunity to celebrate that achievement in person when URAC President and CEO Shawn Griffin, MD, visited our office to sign our Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare 1.0 Developer + User accreditation certificate. Dr. Griffin is pictured here with TimelyCare Chief Care Officer Bob Booth, MD, and VP of Clinical Excellence Heather Geracie. Thank you, Dr. Griffin, for joining us and recognizing the work behind this achievement! Read more about the accreditation: https://lnkd.in/eGtQeSgd

  • What would it look like if every student could access support before they reached a breaking point? We’re honored to have Beth Lesen, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at California State University, Long Beach, and Founder and Principal Consultant of Ascendra Leadership, close out Thursday’s TimelyCare Summit: Every Student Forward, exploring how campuses can help students connect with support earlier. You can view the full agenda and register for the live virtual event here. https://lnkd.in/eb-WGTSQ

Before I was a VP, I was a therapist. And the students I worried about most weren’t the ones in my office. They were the ones who never made it there. That's stayed with me for over 25 years, and it's why I keep coming back to one question: How do we reach students before needs become crises? Not after the 2 a.m. breakdown. Not after the withdrawal form. Before. At CSULB, that meant building a mental health strategic plan that looks past stigma alone, to the cultural, social, and financial barriers that keep students from asking for help. Tomorrow, October 22 at 12pm ET, I'm closing the TimelyCare Summit: Every Student Forward to talk about what that looks like in practice. It's free and virtual. Join me! Before then: what's one thing your campus does to reach students early? Drop it below. I'd love to bring some of your answers into the session. Registration link is in the comments.

  • Just 2 days until TimelyCare Summit: Every Student Forward, and there's still time to register! This Thursday, October 22, 12–2 p.m. ET, Kevin Hines, nationally recognized mental health advocate, filmmaker, and brain health champion, will open our virtual summit with a powerful message about hope, resilience, and the importance of reaching out for help. Higher education and K-12 leaders get the first public look at new national research on how students access mental health and well-being support. Institutions and districts that are reaching students earlier will share what is working and what they have learned. Reserve your spot today: https://lnkd.in/eb-WGTSQ

  • Every student deserves a clear first step to support. On Oct. 22, we’re discussing how to build one. TimelyCare Summit: Every Student Forward brings higher education and K-12 leaders together for two focused hours on reaching students earlier, including students who never ask for help. Register today: https://lnkd.in/eb-WGTSQ

    • TimelyCare Summit: Every Student Forward, October 22, 2026
  • At TimelyCare, we believe every student deserves to be surrounded by support in the moments that matter and the ones in between. This belief lives in the people who show up for students every day: educators, counselors, clinicians, administrators, coaches, families, caregivers, and communities. To our higher education and K-12 partners: thank you for partnering with us to support your students. We are proud of this collaboration that translates into real impact. And to everyone who has chosen a life and career dedicated to helping students learn, grow and find their way: We celebrate you. Your work matters far beyond the moments you get to see. Together, we support one student at a time. One conversation at a time. Until every student is connected to care, community, and to a sense of well-being that is their own. TimelyCare. Support for every moment.

  • Understanding how suicide risk changes during care is essential to providing clinically accountable mental health support for college students. New peer-reviewed TimelyCare research published in Digital Health examines how self-harm and suicidal ideation changed over the course of virtual therapy among more than 5,000 college students. By looking at repeated clinical assessments from one visit to the next, the study provides a more detailed view of when students begin to improve, when concerns persist, and why continued monitoring matters throughout care. • AI is a technology, not a category of care. At last week's Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (TACIR), Dr. Elsa Friis, TimelyCare's Director of Product and Clinical Care, advocated for three core pillars of responsible AI in student support: 1️⃣ Set clear boundaries: Prohibit autonomous AI therapy, AI that diagnoses or prescribes, and design that’s built to manufacture dependency in minors. 2️⃣ Preserve safety nets: Protect clinician-supervised tools used for screening, routing, and early detection. 3️⃣ Demand human connection: Require escalation to a qualified human and make suppressing a risk signal to avoid that duty a violation in its own right. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this vital conversation defining how responsible, human-led innovation can support public health. Thank you to Dr. Elsa Friis and Chief Strategy Officer Becky Stover for representing TimelyCare at the hearing and leading this work for the students and schools we serve. #studentwellbeing #AI #timelycare
