  • Happy Thank-a-Resident Day! ❤️ Today we’re celebrating our incredible resident veterinarians, dedicated clinicians who are completing rigorous three-year specialty training programs at AMC on their path to board certification. From caring for critical emergency cases around the clock to performing advanced procedures and contributing to meaningful research, our residents make an extraordinary difference for animals and the people who love them. As the world’s largest veterinary teaching hospital, we are deeply grateful for their expertise, compassion, and commitment. Please join us in thanking these remarkable doctors for all they do!

  • "Working at AMC has been a dream, and being part of such a great team truly gives my job purpose. It is exciting to work in a hospital with so many opportunities to learn and grow. • If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. 💙 "This African proverb truly reflects the spirit of the team I have the privilege to supervise. What makes our team exceptional is not just the work we do, but how we do it — as a close-knit unit committed to serving everyone in this hospital with the same level of kindness, respect, and compassion. "From the clients walking through our doors to our executive leadership staff, we approach every interaction with professionalism and care. I am most proud of the culture we have built together — one rooted in teamwork, accountability, and genuine support for one another. "During this Veterinary Assistant, Facilitator, and Coordinator Appreciation Week, I want to recognize and thank this remarkable team for the dedication, unity, and heart they bring to their roles every single day." Thank you Jeremiah, Facilitator Supervisor, for this thoughtful recognition of your amazing team! We truly appreciate their commitment and integrity.

  • #UsdanPetTips After this week’s blizzard, sidewalks are covered in snow, salt, and deicers that are hard on paws. ❄️🐾 Boots create a protective barrier, but proper fit is key: • Snug, not tight • Secure without twisting or slipping To help your dog get used to boots, start indoors before heading out... and reward with treats to keep the experience positive. (Watch this video featuring our friend Kobe, showing how it's done!) After winter walks, wipe paws to remove salt and check for redness or cracking. If your dog won’t tolerate boots, paw wax can offer protection.
