🔥 Pro Tip 🔥 How does a mail server know that your email actually comes from you? There's a series of checks that happen in 3 main stages: 1️⃣ Authentication 2️⃣ DMARC check 3️⃣ Disposition Quick walkthrough 👇 1️⃣ Authentication The server will check two policies: 🔸 SPF: a list of allowed IP addresses 🔸 DKIM: a signature that verifies an email came from its claimed domain and hasn't been altered If you've set policies to "relaxed" (the default), your emails will be accepted. 2️⃣ DMARC You can recommend a policy if authentication fails: 🔸 None: emails can be delivered 🔸 Quarantine: place emails that fail DKIM and SPF in the spam folder 🔸 Reject: bounce emails that fail checks Learn more about DMARC policy modes: https://lnkd.in/dS2DaYi7 3️⃣ Disposition: what the server decides Even if an email passes authentication or the DMARC policy is none, the server can still decide to quarantine or reject the email based on its own checks. Resend makes it easy to get SPF, DKIM, and DMARC set up—but what else can you do to ensure your emails are delivered?

What does it take to make your DevTool "agent-ready"? Mika from 2027.dev shared her findings at one of our recent DevTool meetups. She shares how easily AI agents adopt tools and what that means for the future of developer experience. 5 key findings 👇 1️⃣ Docs Are Priority Agents visit your docs ~70% of the time. Documentation is still priority #1 for agent-readiness. Outdated examples on GitHub vs. your docs site? That alone can derail an agent completely. 2️⃣ Finding 2: Authentication Issues Auth is the #1 reason agents get interrupted when adopting a new tool. Most of it is intentional for security, but it's worth knowing that every auth wall is a hard stop for an agent. 3️⃣ Finding 3: Error Messages Error messages matter more than you think. Vague errors stop agents. Writing errors for agents might be the most underrated DX improvement you can make. 4️⃣ Finding 4: CLI Limitations CLIs assume a human is present, but if agents hit interactive prompts, they stall. Make sure your CLI includes a non-interactive mode. 5️⃣ Finding 5: Discoverability Discoverability determines whether agents find you at all. llms.txt and machine-readable formats help, but only if they're easy to locate. Best practice includes putting them at your root domain.
