Daxko had 1,000+ AI licenses, but all that data lived in a separate admin console. Ramp gave them a unified view of spend, broken down by model, user, team, and API key. After just one weekly briefing, 20% of Claude spend shifted to a lower-cost model. Turns out not every task needs the most expensive model in the room. Now finance understands what was driving costs and can make informed decisions with full visibility. Here’s how they did it: https://lnkd.in/eXzBZ3Bi Daxko | Cody Nutt

NEW WORK We recently shipped http://Router.com. This is one of many launches that will build upon Ramp's vision. And if you really looked, you may have spotted some new brand elements. Today, we’re sharing the first look at our evolved brand. We’re calling it Solar System because of our primary Ramp brand color. The idea was simple: build a brand system that behaves like jazz. Why? Because the world is changing too fast. The speed at which we’re shipping at Ramp will only increase and the world will only get more unpredictable. As we build this world, we realized we needed a new system — new ingredients, musical notes, and tools — that behaved more like software and nothing like the old way of brand building. Most brands optimize for consistency: “We always look like this.” We’re building for coherence: “We evolve, and you still know it’s us.” Brand as software is the operating principle in this new AI era. A system that can move at the speed of culture, learn while we grow, without losing focus of our core purpose: saving companies time and money. We built this first version in four weeks. We'll keep improving it out in the open. I’m insanely proud of the heart and care this team put into the work. Personally this is the fastest I've ever evolved a brand, and it was only possible because of this group. Massive shoutout to Diego Zaks 💳 Mark Weaver Aodan Reddy Emerline Ji Nicholas Ano Cristina Keane Roan Collom Diego Segura J.D. Reeves Fons Mans Jack Beveridge Eleanor Ngai Shivani Soni Silas Reeves Kyla Arsadjaja Claire Chen Jon Howell Bradley Ziffer Viktor Hofte Azeem S. and our friends at Common Reality (John Mock and Alex Chimienti). Job's not finished.

AI spending is up 21x on Ramp. But are companies getting a return on that spend? Ramp CEO Eric Glyman gets into it on Bloomberg: https://lnkd.in/dN255s5X

So we decided to buy and launch router.com. Why? Because we’ve run our own Router internally at Ramp for 3 years to keep AI costs down. Today we’re making the same scale and tooling available to everyone. Our customers buy quadrillions of tokens every month through Ramp, and customers who've been using our router are spending roughly 40% less for the same work. Router is the infrastructure underneath that scale: visibility, control, and a way to keep the model layer changing without rebuilding the application. Now available to everyone at router.com. We hope to work hard for all our customers and are grateful to our partners who care deeply about helping companies achieve even higher ROI on their AI spend and made product possible.

Introducing Router.com. Built for CTOs. Loved by CFOs. People in those two roles rarely want the same thing. Engineering wants the best model for every workload, and the best model changes almost every week. Finance wants the AI bill to stop endlessly climbing. Usually you’re forced to pick a side. Ramp Router is built so you don't have to. One endpoint sends every request to the model that's genuinely best for the job - frontier when the work needs it, leaner when it doesn't. Engineering gets the right model for every workload. Finance gets lower inference spend and higher ROI. Everybody wins. We've run Ramp's own AI on it for 3 years and cut our costs ~30% for the same output. Today it's open to everyone: router.com - two lines of code, free through 2026 for everyone to get started.
