Most performance reviews don't improve performance. They just stress people out. And I get why. If a formal meeting is the first time an employee hears they’re struggling or doing exceptionally well, the system failed long before the meeting began. You can't replace months of silence with one hour of feedback. And it usually leads to the same things: → tension before every cycle → people trying to "look good" instead of grow → managers delaying honest conversations until it’s too late At Paybis, we see performance reviews as a checkpoint: a moment to reflect on progress, align expectations and look ahead. When expectations are clear, people stop managing impressions and start focusing on results. Performance grows where clarity lives. Does your review feel like a helpful summary or a surprise exam? 👇

An evening overlooking the iconic landmarks of Paris, with the people shaping what’s next in crypto. During Paris Blockchain Week 2026, we hosted CoinEx Alpha Night – Above the Arc on the Champs-Élysées with the prize pool supported by Paybis. What stood out wasn’t just the view, but the quality of conversations. From market structure and liquidity flows to how different players are navigating this cycle, the exchange of perspectives was both candid and insightful. At CoinEx, we see moments like this as more than just networking. It’s about staying close to the people behind the flow, understanding how they think, adapt, and position in fast-moving markets. A big thank you to all our VIP clients, partners, KOLs, and friends of CoinEx who took the time to join us. Your presence made the evening truly special. Looking forward to continuing these conversations.  #CoinEx #PBW2026 #ParisBlockchainWeek #CryptoEvents #VIPNetworking #DigitalAssets #CryptoCommunity #Blockchain #Trading #Web3 #AboveTheArc

Is traditional banking working for business? 7% fees for cross-border payments and days, sometimes weeks to clear? 🦥 Cross-border B2B payments take 55% longer to settle. In the US and UK, businesses wait an average of 32 days for international invoice settlement compared to just 21 days domestically (Source: Visa/PYMNTS). 🫰 The Cost Burden: The global average cost for a retail cross-border transfer remains stalled at 6.35%, well above the G20 target of 3%. For SMEs, hidden fees alone resulted in over $446M in lost capital in key corridors last year. 🏦🏦🏦🏦🏦 A single SWIFT transaction can pass through 3-5 correspondent banks, with each "hop" adding fees and decreasing transparency. 'Wait, was that a Signal or just Noise'? My last week was spent at #ParisBlockchainWeek, and it’s always a pleasure to come back to this great city. 🇫🇷 Paris is somewhat special. I knew the city as a child from video games and will never forget how captivated I was during my first real visit, many years ago. Today, as an adult, you think about things differently. Paris is messy, crowded, distracting — but the moment you catch a glimpse of a familiar street or a beautiful site, it pulls you right back in. Likewise, I keep asking myself: 'Wait, was that a signal, or just some distracting noise?' I know it sounds cheesy but I think about the concept of 'Signal versus Noise' a lot. How can we differentiate between Signal — real information that makes us engage with something complex but important — and Noise, which only serves to distract? In a similar way, how can we continue to build and nurture a strong ecosystem of partners? That's what brought me to Paris. The objectives for me were clear. To expand Paybis' network of partnerships and to showcase how we make crypto simple for everyday users. In a space that can be full of noise, my goal was to focus on real 'Signal'. I’m thankful to have met so many people in Paris who demonstrated this. Their perspectives come from deep domain knowledge and they keep challenging the Web3 space in very innovative ways. I’m also glad that the week helped strengthen existing relationships, whether through VIP dinners, side events, or simply stopping by a booth to reconnect and exchange a few words. To sum up, a big thank you to Paris Blockchain Week — and I’m excited to see the rebrand to Signal Week in 2027. So much for the choice of words :) #PBW2026 #Signal #Paybis #Crypto #Web3 Konstantins Vasilenko, Paul Afshar, Elizaveta Tarasova, Nenter Chow, Jacelynn Pang, Vivian HK C.

This Paris Blockchain Week, we partnered with Paybis and nSure.ai to host an evening for fintech and digital asset leaders. But side events are more than a good night out. Here are the practical results: ▫️ 1000+ total registrations ▫️ 15% acceptance rate ▫️ 150+ unique companies represented ▫️ Tier 1 companies across 6 sectors  ▫️ 50% founders & C-suite The side event landscape is shifting from “who can we bring in the room” to “who belongs in it, and why.” To stay relevant, they require intention and precision in how they’re built.

I’m one of the speakers in Sumsub Academy’s Fraud Prevention course, where I cover bot-driven abuse, money mule and cash-out networks, and fraud in crypto. I focused on these topics because they reflect a big part of what makes fraud prevention difficult today: abuse that is coordinated, scalable, and designed to blend into legitimate activity. In the sessions, I break down how these patterns work in practice and why they create such a challenge for fraud teams. If your work touches fraud, risk, or crypto, take a look. The course is now live, free to access, and includes a certificate on completion. Highly recommended to anyone interested in the practical side of things.
