The General Manager owns the property’s profitability and reputation. This leader oversees front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, sales, maintenance, and administrative functions while maintaining brand standards and delivering a consistent, high-quality guest experience. The role requires strong financial acumen, operational discipline, community engagement, and the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Direct daily hotel operations to ensure service quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. Maintain brand standards and guest satisfaction benchmarks. Oversee Legends Bar & Grill and banquet operations, ensuring quality, compliance, and profitability. Conduct routine property inspections to protect asset condition and guest experience. Revenue & Sales Strategy Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to drive occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue. Develop and execute local marketing and community engagement initiatives. Monitor pricing, inventory strategy, and market positioning to maximize performance. Financial Oversight Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance. Analyze P&L statements and proactively manage cost controls. Ensure proper cash handling, internal controls, and timely financial reporting. Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate revenue and expense tracking. Team & Culture Development Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-performing associates. Establish clear performance expectations and accountability standards. Foster a professional, inclusive, and service-focused workplace. Address employee relations matters in partnership with Human Resources. Guest Experience & Reputation Lead service recovery efforts and resolve guest concerns with professionalism. Build strong relationships within the local community. Continuously seek feedback to improve service delivery and operational standards. Qualifications 5+ years of hotel management experience (full-service). Demonstrated understanding of hotel financial operations and revenue management. Experience overseeing food & beverage operations is strongly preferred. Strong leadership, delegation, and decision-making skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with hotel systems, budgeting tools, and standard office software. High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
