The biggest mistake people make with AI is believing its first answer. That’s because AI is remarkably good at sounding confident and like it knows what it’s talking about. It often doesn’t. According to Mike O'Brien, the people getting the most from AI aren't focusing on asking better questions, they're getting better at judging the answers. Using — you may have guessed it — their own expertise. Watch WOL:AI on demand ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dWssCVDH

Most teams treat reporting as something you do after delivery. The best teams treat it as part of the product itself. This couldn’t be more important than in B2B training, where reporting is what helps clients see the value of your work. To make reporting actually useful, it needs to do 3 things: show progress, outcome, and direction. This is where many setups fall short. The data is there, but it’s scattered across different places, reports take manual cleanup before they can be shared, and the useful insights often come too late. Even when the training is working, the value is harder for the client to see clearly. When a client asks how the training is going, how long does it take you to answer? 👇

Tomorrow we're running a free live webinar on something most B2B training providers figure out the hard way. How to stop rebuilding your training delivery from scratch every time a new client signs. It’s called the 80/20 model, we’ll have real examples of it working, and step-by-step breakdown of what to standardize and what to customize. June 25 at 13:00 ET. Free to join ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gPkYDWgJ

There is a version of AI in learning that’s genuinely exciting. Subject matter experts turning their knowledge into complete experiences, learners getting support exactly when they need it, instructional designers spending less time producing content and more time improving outcomes. That is what we are building towards at LearnWorlds with our platform. But our CPO, George Palaigeorgiou, also thinks we need to be honest about what AI cannot own: → the direction, → the values, → the structure that turns material into a real learning experience → the art and the politics behind learning. He wrote about what that means in this piece for Unite.AI: https://lnkd.in/dBFAJErV

One thing I’ve learned after years of working with training providers: every client is different. Different people, different goals, different expectations, different ways of working. And that’s exactly what makes scaling difficult. Because at some point, the challenge is no longer creating great training. The challenge is delivering it across multiple clients without rebuilding the same things again and again. This is something I discuss almost every day with customers, and it’s the reason I’m excited about our upcoming webinar with Vincent Bégin, hosted by LearnWorlds We’ll talk about the 80/20 training model and how training providers can reuse what already works, while still offering a personalized experience to each client. 📅 June 25 I’d love to see some familiar faces there. 👉 Save your seat: https://lnkd.in/ddtUhMqb #B2BTraining #CustomerSuccess #TrainingProviders #LearningAndDevelopment #LearnWorlds

Building a training program is hard. Building a training business is harder. This is the first edition of "The training business brief" by Mia Čomić: a monthly read for training providers, certification businesses, academies, and consultancies building both. This month, we’re looking at the pressure to close skills gaps faster, why AI capability is becoming a business priority, and how buyers are asking harder questions about outcomes. You’ll find five market signals, one delivery challenge worth fixing, and a practical 80/20 model for reusing what already works across clients.
