Wholesome nutrition with clinical precision
About us
Kate Farms was founded when a little girl named Kate was failing to thrive because she couldn't tolerate any of the available tube feeding formulas. Her determined parents, Richard and Michelle, had the transformative idea to develop a formula using high-quality, organic, and plant-based ingredients without the common allergens and ingredients often found in traditional formulas. Today, Kate is thriving, and Kate Farms is now the #1 recommended plant-based brand.* Kate Farms offers medical formulas for children and adults to be used as sole-source or supplemental nutrition for oral and tube feeding. They are available nationally and eligible for insurance coverage with Medicare, Medicaid, 30 states for WIC and private insurance. Kate Farms formulas are made with organic pea protein, fiber, and phytonutrients, and made without the top nine common allergens or artificial colors or flavors. Kate Farms can be accessed in more than 1,000 US hospitals. For more information on our full product portfolio, visit www.katefarms.com. *Independent plant-based formula survey.

Nutrition should help people feel confident and in control, no matter their zip code or circumstances. Millions of families across the U.S. rely on WIC to support their children’s nutrition, and we’re committed to showing up for the humans behind those health journeys. Our work goes beyond expanding coverage for our pediatric formulas. It’s about giving caregivers peace of mind and children the nourishment they need to thrive. Today, Kate Farms formulas are WIC-eligible in 35 states and growing. Because quality nutrition should always be within reach.

Not all protein works the same way and that’s by design. 💚 At Kate Farms, we use yellow pea protein in two purposeful forms: intact and hydrolyzed. Why? Because different bodies have different digestive needs. • Intact pea protein supports people with normal GI function and is found in most of our shakes. • Hydrolyzed pea protein is broken down into smaller peptides, making it easier to digest for those with impaired GI function. You’ll find it in our Pediatric and Adult Peptide formulas. Same high-quality plant protein. Two formats. One goal: better nourishment, made accessible.

Meet Louis ✨ His story is a reminder that the right support can make a world of difference for people living with Crohn's disease or IBD. As a proud Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Partner, we are committed to supporting the IBD community in ways that extend beyond nutrition. We continue to learn from patients, caregivers, and the clinicians who guide them, and we wholeheartedly value the role that community plays in one’s journey. Many individuals managing Crohn’s disease or IBD often turn to their care teams for guidance around nutrition options. We are grateful for the role clinicians play in helping people understand what may best support their needs. If you would like more information or support for your patients, reach out. Our service teams here to help and can guide you through the options available. #CrohnsAwareness #KateFarmsCommunity
