Shaping environments that ignite human potential.

About us

Grace was founded on a simple idea: when talented teams come together with shared purpose, remarkable things happen. We unite diverse expertise across disciplines, designing environments where people can connect, grow, and realize their full potential. We call this design that defines. We create spaces that don’t just exist in the world but help define it. Whether it’s a school that inspires learning, a health center that fosters wellness, or a public space that strengthens community, every project is delivered with intention and impact.

Great evening speaking at the PCEA (Professional Construction Estimators Association) Orlando Chapter 22 dinner — always an engaged room and a valuable opportunity to connect with so many peers across the AEC industry. I appreciated the chance to share perspectives alongside fellow panelists on the importance of collaboration, managing client expectations, building resilience into design, and how emerging technologies like AI and advanced BIM are continuing to transform how we deliver projects. Shoutout to Franklin J. Green and Grant Ramsay of Osborne Engineering for bringing thoughtful, real-world insights to the conversation. The 3 Musketeer's or maybe 3 Ninja Turtle's is more like it... Events like this reinforce how essential collaboration is across our industry — and the Chinese New Year celebration at the Citrus Club Grove lounge made the evening even more memorable. • Celebrating Chantal Ireland’s leadership as Committee Chair of the AIA Baltimore Health & Wellness Committee, as they help deliver a thoughtful program on lighting and lighting control design and their impact on care environments. Mark your calendars for March 12, and refer to the original post for full event details!

Lighting does more than illuminate a space. It shapes how patients heal and how clinicians work.   Our partners at AIA Baltimore are hosting a panel on March 12th focused on how thoughtful lighting design, controls, and evidence-based strategies directly impact the patient and clinician experience in healthcare environments.   You’ll hear about: • Circadian-informed lighting strategies • Daylight harvesting and sensor-based controls • Infection control considerations in fixture selection • How lighting design improves both patient recovery and staff performance Join the conversation at the Center for Architecture & Design for networking, vendor showcases, and a panel discussion with leaders in healthcare, behavioral health, and lighting innovation.   📍 AIA Baltimore — 100 N. Charles Street 🕠 Networking at 5:30 PM | Panel at 6:30 PM If you design, operate, or influence healthcare spaces, this one is worth your time. ***Attendees are eligible for (1) hr. • ✨ Design that heals, supports, and inspires. At Grace Design Studios, architecture and interior design move as one: creating spaces where patients feel cared for, teams work seamlessly, and every detail works with purpose. From concept to completion, our integrated approach ensures every choice supports the people who use the space. 🏥💡 Because when disciplines collaborate, environments transform.

  • As Mike Kolejka often notes, the most successful senior living environments are the ones that quietly do more—reducing friction for staff, supporting independence for residents, and adapting as care models evolve. When design aligns with operations, wellness, and dignity, it stops being a backdrop and starts shaping daily experience in meaningful ways. The future of senior living is highly intuitive, flexible, and deeply human. Listen to Enhance Senior Living via the links below. #SeniorLiving #DesignLeadership #FutureOfAging #ThoughtLeadership

I just released an episode with Mike Kolejka Partner at Grace Design Studios discussing the latest trends in senior living design. We discuss the latest amenity uses, how to lower construction costs, the Baby Boomer generation, how design can improve operations, and so much more.
