    As fans gather across the globe to celebrate the 2026 global soccer tournament, the energy is unmistakable.   At our complex in Baytown, Texas, we’re bringing that same spirit to an effort that often happens behind the scenes: transforming plastic waste from the fan festivities in Houston into valuable new products.   Plastic waste, like bubble wrap and shrink wrap, from the 2026 soccer tournament fan festivities in Houston is getting a new life through advanced recycling at our complex in Baytown, Texas.    It’s a great example of how innovation and scale can come together to keep plastic waste in play and away from Houston’s landfills.    Because whether it’s on the field or behind the scenes, progress takes leadership, collaboration, and a shared goal.    Read more from Eloissa Wells about how we’re turning fan energy into material progress: https://lnkd.in/dUcRU7cN

    The first export cargo from Golden Pass LNG – our joint venture with QatarEnergy – has safely shipped from the terminal in Sabine Pass, Texas – marking a major step toward full operations and adding new supply to global markets.     “Golden Pass is open for business,” said Dan Ammann. “We’re connecting abundant U.S. resources to global markets and strengthening our position as a leading energy supplier.”    Joined by U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright at a recent site visit, we recognized the vast planning, investment, and collaboration that made this milestone possible.     As Golden Pass LNG continues ramping up operations, we’re expanding access to reliable, flexible energy, supporting energy security and economic growth for years to come.    ExxonMobil LNG | Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gKxqS3Un
