Some fun facts about the most famous agreement in America for your July 4th week: ✍️The Declaration of Independence started as an over 1,700* -word draft. 📝After nearly 25%* was cut, the Continental Congress produced the ~1,300*-word version that helped shape the modern world. 💡One historian even called it “one of the most successful exercises in group editing of all time.” 250 years later, teams don’t need quill pens and crowded assembly halls to collaborate on high‑stakes documents: with Docusign, organizations can draft, edit, review, and sign agreements from anywhere, with the right people looped in at the right time. *data is based on averages

There's a temptation at events to focus on product announcements. But what interests me more is the bigger shift they represent. Today's keynote at Docusign Momentum UK in London suggested that we're moving into a phase where AI is becoming part of the operational backbone of the business rather than another standalone tool. If agreements really are one of the richest sources of trusted business data, then making that information easier to find, understand and act on could change how sales, legal, procurement and HR teams work together. I'll be spending the rest of the day speaking with customers and executives to determine whether that vision is already becoming a reality or whether there are still barriers to overcome. I'd be interested to hear your perspective too. Where do you think AI is creating the greatest business value today? #DocusignMomentum #DocusignIAM #AgenticAI #TechLeadership

  • In-house legal teams know the specific pain of contract work being scattered across tools firsthand: critical contract information gets stuck in disconnected systems, forcing you to juggle multiple tools. 🚀 Starting today we are making it easier on you by introducing Docusign IAM directly into the AI tools legal teams already use: Perplexity Computer and the newly announced Computer for Counsel. Legal teams can now set an objective using plain language in Perplexity and Docusign will automate contract work from start to finish. Whether you are working with procurement to streamline contract review against company playbooks, working with sales to negotiate a contract renewal or operationalizing HR’s onboarding processes; legal teams can use the power of Docusign & Perplexity together and spend less time managing documents and more time helping a business move faster.

  • Most agreements contain valuable business information. The problem is that information is buried in static documents, scattered across systems and attached to an old email, or only easy to find when someone already knows exactly where to look. Details like renewal dates, payment terms and customer commitments are imperative to understand and can help teams save time, control costs, reduce risk, and deliver on what was promised — but only if they’re easy to uncover when it matters. Here are six things hiding in your agreements that could save your team time, money, or risk.
