Your LATAM traffic is only as stable as its local rails. LATAM is not one market. It is six sets of local payment behaviour. We are reintroducing CommerceGate's LATAM suite. Live now: Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina. Chile and Peru, refreshed, coming shortly. What is actually in it: 🇧🇷 Brazil - PIX pay-in and payout. 85%+ approval in, 99.9%+ out. Up to three banking partners per merchant account with automated routing between them, and deposited funds instantly available for payouts. 🇲🇽 Mexico - cards at 76%, SPEI and CoDi bank transfer, plus cash vouchers across 20,000+ physical points for the segment that never uses a card. 🇨🇴 Colombia - PSE at 79% in and 100% out, Nequi wallet at 83%, cards at 71%. 🇦🇷 Argentina - cards including the full local set, instant bank transfer, and Transferencias 3.0 QR wallets. Multiple processing channels per market and solution, with automated local routing and fund distribution. One rail having a bad night does not stop your traffic. Settlement that behaves: EU merchants are paid from safeguarding accounts held with Tier 1 Spanish banks. And India is now stable and multi-channel - UPI Intent and not only for deposits, IMPS for payouts, 75%+ approval on payments and 99.9% on withdrawals. If you are running volume into LATAM or India and your local coverage is thinner or KPI lower than your ambition, let's talk. #payments #LATAM #PIX #India #UPI #iGaming #Forex

“Do you have CPF checks?” One question has suddenly started appearing in merchant conversations. “Do you have CPF checks?” Twelve months ago nobody outside Brazil asked this question. Today, I hear it almost every week. Many operators, PSPs, payment and compliance teams are hearing fragments of information about SIGAP, Desenrola, blocked CPF numbers and betting restrictions. The problem is that much of the market is mixing together operator obligations, PSP obligations and banking expectations. The reality is simpler. SIGAP is Brazil’s government betting management system. Through its Módulo de Impedidos, licensed operators must verify whether a player’s CPF is allowed to participate in betting activities. The process is straightforward: CPF → SIGAP Response: * Impedido * Não Impedido If the player is restricted (Impedido), the operator must act. What surprises many international operators is that this is currently an operator-level control, not a PSP-level obligation. So why are PSPs suddenly receiving questions about CPF validation? Because banks, acquirers and compliance teams are increasingly asking a different question: “How do you know your merchant is complying with SIGAP?” From a payments perspective, the practical risk is indirect but growing. Banks, acquirers and payment providers increasingly ask: * Are you integrated with SIGAP? * How do you perform CPF validation? * How do you handle restricted players? * How do you document compliance? A licensed operator without clear answers is rapidly becoming a higher-risk customer. My view is that Brazil is moving toward a model where Operator + PSP + Bank + SIGAP become part of the same compliance ecosystem. Today the responsibility sits primarily with the operator. In the next 12–24 months, I would not be surprised if PSPs are expected to perform additional validation, monitoring or attestations around these controls as part of onboarding and ongoing compliance reviews. For now, when a merchant asks: “Do you have CPF checks?” The better first question might be: “Can we prove to our banking and payments partners that our SIGAP controls are working?” And that’s a very different conversation from simply asking: “Do you support PIX?” #Brazil #SIGAP #Betting #Payments #PIX #Compliance #PSP #Forex #LATAM

Cyprus next week. Thank you to everyone who has already reached out and scheduled meetings. My calendar for Limassol (15-18 June) and iFX Expo Cyprus (17-18 June) is filling up nicely, but I still have a few available slots. If you're interested in discussing: - LATAM expansion - Brazil PIX - India UPI - acquiring diversification - payment resilience - settlement structures - payment operations - Forex payment challenges I'd be happy to exchange views, share some of the lessons we've learned at CommerceGate over the last 12 years, and explore whether there are opportunities to collaborate. For iFX you can book a meeting directly here: https://lnkd.in/eQsD68RF and for 15-16th of June text me and we'd organise it together Looking forward to some interesting conversations. See you in Cyprus. #iFXExpo #Forex #Payments #LATAM #India #PIX #UPI #Fintech #Acquiring

Cyprus next week. I'll be in Limassol from 15-18 June, including attending iFX Expo on 17-18 June. Over the last 12 years, we in CommerceGate spent most of our time helping merchants, and payment teams solve a fairly simple problem: How do you scale payments without creating bigger operational problems later? Lately, most of those conversations have revolved around: - LATAM expansion - Brazil PIX - India UPI - payment resilience - acquiring diversification - settlement structures - regulatory changes - payment operations at scale The Forex industry is facing a particularly interesting period right now. New geographies. New payment methods. New regulatory expectations. And in many cases, the same old challenge: How do you build payment infrastructure that keeps growing when volumes, regulators and customer expectations all increase at the same time? If you're attending iFX Expo and would like to exchange views on LATAM, India, payments, acquiring or operational scaling, feel free to reach out. Always happy to share experiences, discuss what we're seeing across the market, and explore where collaboration might make sense. See you in Cyprus. #iFXExpo #Forex #Payments #LATAM #India #PIX #UPI #Fintech #Acquiring
