Today, the Citi Foundation announced its $5 million grant to Prosperity Now for the launch of the ABC Initiative (Asset-Building for Children), which will help low-income American families learn about and access the new Trump Accounts, also known as 530A accounts. These kinds of child-focused savings and investment accounts help families start to build wealth early, which can positively impact education, economic mobility and long-term financial security. This grant builds on Citi and the Citi Foundation’s long history of supporting early wealth-building. Learn more here: https://on.citi/4gaDemT.

From tending gardens in Luxembourg to working with local entrepreneurs in Pakistan, #CitiVolunteers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa have dedicated their time and skills in celebration of Global Community Day. They’ve teamed up with youth in Zambia and Czechia, packed kits for people experiencing homelessness in South Africa, renovated a garden in Morocco and learned about sustainable food systems in the UAE. In Spain, team members supported an organization that assists people with disabilities — and in Germany, volunteers provided homework help and meals to children and families. Across various countries and causes, our colleagues are making a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work.
