The year is 1954. Dave and Jim*, two budding entrepreneurs, are on a mission to re-design the perfect broiler, one that will infuse flame-grilled goodness into every burger. It's work that takes time, commitment and the dedication of thousands across our system. Now, that progress is showing. Four straight years outperforming the QSR burger category. Fifty-eight percent of our U.S. restaurants have been modernized. Franchisee profitability has more than doubled. And most importantly, millions of guests are finding their way back, and we're building a brand worthy of their return.   • Behind every great menu innovation at Burger King is a talented team of culinary experts, and recently their work earned industry recognition when our corporate culinary leaders took the stage at the NRN Show to accept the Menu Masters Award for Best New Menu Item for the BBQ Brisket Whopper. 🔥🍔 Creating an award-winning flavor profile is no small feat. But what makes this achievement even more impressive is the ability to bring that culinary vision to life across more than 6,700 restaurants and serve millions of Guests with consistency and quality. This recognition reflects the creativity and dedication of our culinary team, as well as the operations and restaurant teams who execute with excellence every day. Together, they help transform great ideas into great Guest experiences across the country. Congratulations to everyone who helped bring the BBQ Brisket Whopper to life and earn this recognition.   • Last week, we welcomed 30 interns to our Miami headquarters as they kicked off their 10-week summer internship program! 👑 Among this talented group are six Operations Interns who will spend the summer immersed in the Burger King business, tackling strategic projects designed to strengthen restaurant operations and elevate the way we serve our Guests. To kick off the program, the interns heard directly from Burger King President Tom Curtis about the Reclaim the Flame plan that��s driving our transformation. Now, it’s time to roll up their sleeves. Throughout the summer, these interns will spend two days each week working side-by-side with our restaurant teams, gaining firsthand experience where it matters most. From supporting day-to-day operations to partnering on projects hand-selected by our leaders, they'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the Guest experience and the future of our business.   • Starting today, Burger King is bringing a burst of color to the summer season by teaming up with Crayola, an iconic brand that has inspired hands-on play and imagination for generations!    No one does collaborations quite like BK. From a custom 4-pack of Crayola crayons to a colorable crown and meal bag, plus our playful Crown Nuggets that bring even more fun to the table, the goal of this collaboration is to transform our restaurants into a space where parents and kids alike can share a little bit of creative hands-on play at Burger King restaurants. This collaboration was made possible by the incredible enthusiasm of our teams and Franchisees. Whether it’s Guests of all ages joyfully unwrapping their King Jr. Meals, or our Team Members fully leaning into the experience to deliver high-quality service, every detail reflects the creativity and teamwork that went into making this menu a reality. All that’s left now? For Guests to experience the creativity for themselves at restaurants across the country and see how everyday mealtime experiences can get even more colorful starting today!

  • The results are in: listening is our secret sauce.  This morning, we shared our Q1 ‘26 results, and the numbers tell a story we’re incredibly proud of – 5.8% growth in U.S. sales, outperforming our burger peers by 5 points. This quarter didn't happen overnight. It's the result of four years of unglamorous, foundational work – better restaurants, better operators, and a relentless focus on the Guest experience.  That foundation is what allowed us to turn our attention to our food, which started with elevating the Whopper for the first time in ten years. When we did, we reminded Americans that we have the best burger in QSR, and friendly, engaged Team Members ready to serve it, leading to its highest sales in years.  We're proud of this moment, but we also know there’s a lot more to come on the journey. There's more menu elevation coming. More investment in our restaurants. More listening to the Guests who make all of this possible. To the BK Guests – thank you for keeping us hungry. To our BK teams – let’s keep bringing the heat.

  • Starting today (May the Fourth), Burger King is traveling to a galaxy far, far away to bring a new, limited-time menu to life in celebration of the upcoming theatrical release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu! 🌠 No one does collaborations quite like BK – from themed meals including four new menu items, to custom Mandalorian and Grogu-inspired packaging, toys and collectible cups, the goal of this collaboration is to transform our restaurants into a space where parents and kids alike can share a little bit of the Star Wars universe at Burger King restaurants.   • It’s an exciting time to be a Burger King Franchisee – just ask Jeremy Kline, who left his job as a leader on the BK Corporate team to take on 16 restaurants in the Salt Lake City area. After 6+ years on the corporate side working with Franchisees, Jeremy is now taking a hands-on approach to his next chapter with a clear mission: to revitalize the acquired locations through operational excellence, modernized remodels, and a deep investment in the local workforce.     For Jeremy, this journey is personal.
