About us
Relieving pain by teaching emergency dental skills. More than 70% of people in the world have no access to dental treatment. We believe that everybody has the right to safe emergency dental care. There is a desperate need to tackle oral disease, infection and chronic pain in communities throughout the developing world - to enable people to work, attend school and care for their families. Our work means local people are able to function free from pain and avoid the risk of preventable infections and diseases.

Can't wait to hear all about it!
I’ve just come back from an incredible week in London at the 2026 American Express Leadership Academy, delivered with Common Purpose. Four days with 74 non-profit leaders from 19 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. People working in health, education, poverty relief, climate, social justice, community development and so much more. It was one of those rare weeks where you get the chance to properly step out of the day-to-day, think deeply about leadership, and learn from people who are facing very different challenges, but often asking very similar questions. 🎉 How do we grow our impact without losing our purpose? 🎉 How do we build strong, resilient organisations? 🎉 How do we collaborate better, especially across sectors? 🎉 How do we keep going when the need is growing faster than the resources? For me, one of the biggest reminders was the power of networks. Not networking in the transactional sense, but real connection — listening, sharing honestly, challenging each other, and finding the places where our work and values overlap. That feels especially important for Bridge2Aid. Our work has always depended on collaboration: with dental professionals, dental businesses, universities, Ministries of Health, local partners and communities. No one organisation can solve access to oral healthcare on its own. But when we bring the right people together, with trust and shared purpose, we can create change that lasts. I’ve come away with new ideas, new energy and a much wider group of people to learn from. Also a renewed belief that businesses and charities have so much to offer each other when the relationship is built around shared impact. A huge thank you to American Express, Common Purpose, all the contributors and, most of all, the brilliant cohort I was lucky enough to be part of. I’m looking forward to turning the learning into action. #AmexLeadershipAcademy #CommonPurpose #NonProfitLeadership #Leadership #Collaboration #SocialImpact #Bridge2Aid #DentalIndustry #Partnerships

A huge thank you to the University of Bristol Dental School students who have been working with us as part of their community engagement project. Over the past few weeks, students have been supporting four local community organisations — The Haven, One25, Homeless Health and St Monica’s Trust — by delivering oral health education to communities and training staff to become oral health ambassadors. These photographs show students sorting oral health bags and preparing to visit The Haven last week as part of this important outreach work. We would also like to expressly thank Henry Schein Dental UK for their generous donation of oral health packs, which are helping to support communities who face barriers to accessing dental care. During the second half of June, the project will continue at the dental school, where students will provide treatment for patients who traditionally face significant barriers to accessing dental care. We’re proud to be part of a project that helps improve access to oral health support, builds confidence within community settings and strengthens links between dental education and local communities.

We’re delighted to be working with Bristol Dental School on the next stage of an important community engagement project. Over the next two weeks, fourth-year dental students will be leading oral health education sessions with four community partners across the city — Sirona care & health (The Haven Team), Homeless Health Service , One25 and St Monica Trust. As part of these visits, students are also meeting patients they will go on to treat at the dental school during the final two weeks of June. The project has four key aims: to give students meaningful experience of working with local communities; to improve oral health literacy and support staff to become oral health ambassadors; to widen access to treatment for people who face significant barriers to care; and to help create a sustainable pathway into future treatment through the dental school. We’re proud to support work that connects learning with real community impact
