  • We may not own a crystal ball to look into the future, but we have our Strategy and Account Management team… who have proven to be far more accurate. As we settle into 2026, the team is breaking down their predictions for what the the social landscape will hold this year. First up: micro communities and niche influencers. If your whole strategy involves going BIG, you may be missing out on serious impact by ignoring the small. In niche spaces, creators average about 7.2% engagement compared to about 1.4% for macro-influencers, making them serious drivers of trust and action. When the niche community of Love Island fans blew up, our moderation team for NYX was in the comments, engaging with small creators, and generally ruling the group chat. Going deep with this niche, highly-engaged community snowballed from #iykyk moderation to collabs with the shows breakout stars, selling out products, IRL events with lines around the block, and RSVP lists over 400 deep.
